Master student at Sciences Po Lyon, I can give lessons in several subjects in maths, history, English, economics and help with homework until high school. Hello! My name is Celia, I have a degree in Textual Interpretation and Performing Arts. Throughout my training I have excelled in English (B2 First Certificate Pass with Distinction from Cambridge), Language and Literature, Music (from the age of 8 I began training in singing, piano, language and musical theory) and History and Art History (tuition of honor in both years of high school. Two years ago I started giving private reinforcement classes and also in institutes.

I offer classes on History, Geography, and Political Science, with over 11 years' of experience in these subjects, both professionally and academically. I hold Bachelor's Degrees in both History and Political Science (from the University of Florida), as well as a Master's in Political Science, specifically European Politics (from KU Leuven). I have extensive experience in a wide range of historical and political subjects and have always had a keen interest in history and the social sciences. Additionally, previously I have been a journalist (dealing with Competition Law) and currently am an editor working on a wide variety of subjects for organizations such as the UNHCR and Goethe Institut, among others. I am capable of teaching and lecturing on numerous historical and political events and periods in history, with myself having specialized in European history, American history, African history, as well as the Medieval period and Antiquity.

Learning History is not complicated: the density of its syllabus can be facilitated through dynamic and conceptual teaching. Teaching an individualized methodology is essential to understand and accept it, and as such, it is present in my sessions.
