Hello! I offer private classical piano lessons for all ages. I have experience for more than 4 years with students who are beginners and advanced piano players. I was a teacher for the Young Talent Class at Conservatorium Maastricht 2021-2022. I graduated from Conservatorium Maastricht in 2022, where I had the opportunity to study with Maestro Igor Roma, and Maestro Jeroen Riemsdijk. Throughout my studies I also gained a comprehensive knowledge of music theory, harmony, counterpoint, ear-training, musical forms and music history. I have extensive competition and performance experience with a varied repertoire, from Baroque to Neo-Classical period. I can help you prepare for an upcoming competition, recital or entrance exam. My teaching methods are adaptive to the student's specific needs, so that we can work on improving them. We will work on improving sight-reading, memorisation and basic improvisation. I work with my students to develop their sense of musical phrasing, engage my students in discussions about the music we are playing and more importantly the composer's intent. For specific piano techniques we can work on finger strength, arm-weight, precise control in dynamics and articulation, clarity in fast playing, releasing tension from the body. In addition to my Bachelors Degree, I have a minor in Pedagogical methods and skills, and have obtained a Teaching Certificate from Conservatorium Maastricht. Currently I am available in a studio in Luxembourg City, and at the student's location, in and around Luxembourg City.

I am here to provide piano lessons for classical music and pop music. Coming from Hong Kong and educated in the Academy of Performing Arts (HKAPA), I am a University student in the University of Luxembourg and I am very eager to share the joy of music making. This class is for any enthusiasts who might be interested in learning the piano starting from scratch, furthering their technique in piano, or even to learn just to improvise on the piano. I can also provide lessons on Musical Theory, whether for exams or personal interest. I hold a LTCL Diploma in Piano Recital with a Distinction. I also hold a certificate with merits in the ABRSM Grade 8 Theory Exam. My time is flexible. I am willing to travel medium distances as long as it is reasonable and within Luxembourg. I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

The course that I propose is BILINGUAL FRENCH / ENGLISH, as well as 2 BOOKS. Age and musical taste are not restrictive when in the program, you can with qualitative daily work (not quantitative) quickly observe your progress. Here the pleasure of playing music is put forward. The kind of music you love most will be the focus of the course, their codes and secrets will be the focus of our study, that's what I want to share with you. Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. **Class suggestions and indications** No experience is needed just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music. Classes can be given either in English, Spanish, French or Deutsch. There are no limit for styles, bring your favorite music and I will provide a safe environment for your personal and musical growth. Hello! I am Francisco, a guitar player from Argentina. I am living in the Netherlands since 2021 and I'm studying at Maastricht Conservatorium. I have been teaching guitar lessons for almost 10 years now and love to guide others into their learning process. We can cover different topics: Are you just interested in strumming chords and learning songs? Great! Music theory? Sure! Concepts for improvisation? Yeah! The lessons are aimed both at people who have never grabbed a guitar before, and also for those seeking to dive deeper. Some of the things we will be working on are: Triads, Scales, Voicings, Time Feel, Rhythm, Repertoire, Tools for playing in a band, Comping, and more. The lessons can be at my place in Maastricht, at yours or via Zoom.

From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.

Currently I am studying composition and music theory at the Royal conservatory of Antwerp. I have been playing guitar for more than 15 years and I have participated in music bands and live shows. I am also working on electronic music through my laptop and hardware devices (synths, drum machines etc) I would be happy to teach you how to play the guitar, music theory tips and some basic production skills! In the beginning we will work on your favourite songs. At some point you will be able to make your own songs and you will have the opportunity to record your ideas and share them to the public! For the super young ones: We will start with easy tunes and then, we will work on your favourite songs! - It is never too early or too late to learn an instrument! - Music theory is a very important tool to go further in playing, don't be scared of it.
