About Me

Hello! My name is Zita and I am a musicologist. My interest in music was sparked at a very young age by growing up in a musical family, which is why I decided to study clarinet at the KSO in the Lemmens Institute. After my time there, I continued my clarinet studies at LUCA School of Arts, under the guidance of Roeland Hendrikx. In addition, I obtained a master's degree in musicology at KU Leuven.

During my studies I gained valuable experience at various cultural organizations, including Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, Festival 21-20 and the MA Festival. I also taught clarinet in a studio for a few years and was a conductor at a starter orchestra for two years. I currently work as a freelance musicologist on assignments for Korpus Kwartet, the MA Festival and de Singel. In addition, I spend most of my free time on music, art and literature.

A native of Rio de Janeiro, Felipe Olivé began his piano studies under the guidance of Professor Marcilda Clis. Upon entering UNIRIO, he started taking lessons with the pianist and composer Claudio Dauelsberg. He holds a degree in piano from the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe in Germany, where he was a student of Professor Kaya Han. He spent 2 years in Portugal, where he taught at the Academia de Música de Almada. He also received guidance from Professor and pianist Manuel Araújo of the Academia Internacional de Música Aquilles Delle Vigne in Coimbra. Currently, he is pursuing a Master's degree in Piano Performance at LUCA School of Arts in Belgium, with the renowned pianist Sylvia Thereza as his teacher.

He has been awarded in national and international competitions, such as the VII Sardoal Young Talent Award (2nd Prize - ex-aequo in the Piano Solo category; 2nd Prize and Best Portuguese Duo in the Piano Duo category), the Prof. Dichler-Competition 2022 in Vienna (2nd Prize - ex aequo in the Piano Duo category), the I National Piano Competition of the Villa-Lobos Music School (Honorable Mention) in Rio de Janeiro, and the XXVI Souza Lima Piano Competition (Honorable Mention) in São Paulo.

His classes are intended for anyone who wants to start learning music theory and piano or those who already have basic or advanced knowledge. From Classical to Popular music, his teaching method adapts to the goals and individual desires of the student. During the classes, music theory is taught either concurrently or separately from practice, and the repertoire to be played is chosen collaboratively with the student.
