I have taught to people of all ages for 6 years and I have experience with both beginners and high levelled players. I am a 24 year old pianist who has taught piano to children and grown ups of all ages, working for different goals, from music school exams to just having fun! I'm a patient, easy going teacher and I loved teaching things all my life. I take my lessons very seriously without ruining the fun of learning a new instrument and I adapt to the needs of each student individually.

I can teach you (or your children) the basics of the piano as well as the reading of a score.

Piano lessons for all levels and ages. I have a master's diploma in Classical Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp and experience mainly in the field of classical music. However, I want to help every student in developing their musical potential even if it is not in this sphere.
Bonus: music theory and just a bit of music history

Lessons in piano, harpsichord, and historical and modern cello, with program and repertoire, adapted to the goals and speed of each student, whether young, not so young, or adult, for a general introduction to these instruments, for preparation for high music education, as a supplementary aid for exams in music academies, or for a hobby, or for amateur group music-making, or for developing qualities as concentration, coordination, discipline, expressibility, awareness of styles and music history.
In my teaching, I rely mostly on old traditional methods, books, and repertoire, which have proved their efficiency over the time. I also make use of the teaching tradition of partimenti of the old Neapolitan conservatories - exercises for composing that can be applied from early stage. This not only adds a creative element soon after very beginning, but also teaches via practice the basics of harmony and polyphony.
Lessons can be combined (+30min.) with theory/solfege (ear training), if the student wishes.

I pay a lot of attention to the position at the piano, so that no injuries occur. I also talk a lot about musical lines and how to produce a good sound on the piano. If you have not taken solfège, I am very happy to help with that as well along with the piano study.

Depending on your preference, we can draw up a lesson plan together with individual assignments. I also try to work as much as possible with the genres that you like to listen to yourself, this is of course more motivating (after all, you don't want to try to teach Mozart to a Metal fan ;))

My approach is certainly not like that of the 'music theory' at the academy. From your first lesson you will immediately start playing songs. I only use music theory if it is really necessary or if you would like to delve into it.

Practical:
I follow distance education so I can actually go at any time of the week, online lessons are also a possibility.
