Graduate student with a Bachelor in Mathematics and a Bachelor in Economics offers this course to help anyone wishing to progress in Mathematics, whatever the level (up to Bachelor), whatever the age, in order to best pass your exams / competitions. I have from my own experience of Mathematics discovered, that each student requires a different learning technique, so I strive to create a tailor-made and individualized program in order to progress at best.

Mathematics lessons for all levels. Mathematics is essential for scientific studies, economics and commerce. Good foundations from a young age are essential to success. This course will seek to fill your gaps and acquire a good methodology.

Student at EPFL in master's degree in financial engineering, I had my bachelor's degree in mathematics last year. I am also a student assistant for the first years in Analysis at EPFL. I like giving lessons too much and my goal will be for you to come out without questions and ready to have this 6 in maths! :)

The problem with science is often abstraction. Some subjects are difficult because we do not make the connection between them and what is really going on or what it will be used for. My goal is to explain to you the "why" by detailing examples to understand the theory. Whether in mathematics, physics, analysis, algebra, probability; I will explain to you, finding suitable examples, what blocks and make sure that you really understand by pushing the exercises a little further afterwards. We will also review the theory, sometimes difficult, but so important for learning the rigor of mathematics.

CONTENTS : This course is aimed at university students, in the field of mathematics. This course is also suitable for students at EPFL as well as students of mathematics and physics), but also for faculties of economics (except economic mathematics), or medicine for example. The goal is simple: to help you understand by yourself and acquire an intuition of the desired mathematical concepts, as well as the resolution of the exercises. The courses cover a number of subjects. The student chooses the desired branch (the choices are listed below (*). Additional drills can be provided upon request. (*)The topics covered in this course are: -Analysis I, Advanced Analysis I [one-variable real analysis, integration, etc...] -Analysis II, Advanced Analysis II [real multivariate analysis, integration, differential equations, etc...] -Linear Algebra I [linear maps, matrices, determinants, diagonalization (AL2), etc...] -Advanced Linear Algebra I [AL1, dual spaces, multilinear forms, groups, rings, fields, etc...] -Advanced Linear Algebra II [Gram-Schmidt, Orthogonality, Sylvester, SVD, QR, MSA, Jordan, SEDL, Hermite, Smith] -Algebraic structures [Basic logic, sets, equivalence relations, classes, quotients, groups, etc...] -Discrete mathematics [combinatorics, generating functions, basis of graph theory, probabilistic approach] Note: For more information regarding the contents of the topics, we can discuss. SIZE: The course can be given face-to-face in the Lausanne region (preferably Renens / Ecublens) or Geneva (preferably center) depending on my travel availability (this is to be agreed by message with me directly, this option only appears by default in my schedules available below). my method of teaching focus foremost on clearing fundamentals to the core, not just how ? but why this and why not that? .... after understanding fundamentals you are ready to learn the way of problem solving , now this is the stage of rigour practice , as that's what yield perfection . i have got a lot experience with maths , as a student who made it to maths olympiad and got jee 98.7 %ile and then as a corporate employee who used to solve maths problems as a hobby in freetime to open brain in new dimensions . what i believe is if a person really understand maths in simplest terms without any rush ,as naturally as possible , maths become the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to him/her ... it not just help in academics but in designing most efficient brain that can thing out of the box .... maths is a way to become more and more genius...

During a regular school curriculum, the material to be assimilated can be considerable, so much so that many concepts are only understood superficially, just enough to pass an exam. In my opinion, it is essential to establish a solid foundation before building new knowledge. The course is therefore structured as follows: - Review of relevant physical and mathematical concepts prior to the course. - Course overview: We identify the key concepts, what is well understood and less well understood by the student, in which case misunderstandings are addressed. - Practice: We put new concepts into practice through a series of exercises aimed at anchoring the learning. - Summary: I like to conclude each session with a discussion where the roles are reversed: the student explains the concepts covered in their own words. It is often by trying to teach in turn that we highlight our misunderstandings — and really consolidate our knowledge!
