I teach young students how to play and perfect playing Violin. depending on students level of playing, I teach and help them to have better understanding of music. My main goal is to make them fall in love with music and especially with violin. I teach classical music, therefore it is important to also know some basic facts about the pieces and composers that will come along on this amazing journey. I will help students to gain better understanding on how to practice and i will try my best to help them in any way they struggle with Violin. I understand how extremely difficult it is to be able to play Violin and especially perfect it and thats why it is very important to help students with their technique and sound.

I am 18 years old, but i have 12 year experience playing Violin. It is my passion and my future career to play violin professionally. In general i am very open with people and seem to find a way to communicate very quickly. I am choosing to work with each student with different approaches. I want to make lessons very open between me and students in order to be able to share problems regarding music and to gain better understanding of each other.

My first few years i was studying in Evgeni Mikeladzes music school in Georgia, Tbilisi. When i turned 14 i moved to UK, London and continued studying Violin in The Purcell school. Once i finished school, i got into HEMU, conservatory in Lausanne. I have studied with 5 amazing teachers from all over the world, who taught me everything i know today. I have also been to many masterclasses around the world since i was 9.

Experiencia / Calificaciones

I have participated in many competitions and won prizes, since i was 7. I have a great experience of playing with orchestra. I have been awarded bows and even a Violin in very prestigious competitions. I have been honored to perform in Royal Albert Hall. In one of the competitions the Queen of Belgium awarded me herself. Regarding teaching, i was a private tutor in London while studying and had few amazing students.

Pianist student at the HEM in Geneva offers piano lessons as well as music theory! Basic elementary and intermediate level I also propose a part to speak about the musical appreciation of all the periods of the history of the music. For all ages!

These will be lessons to work on the piano (beginners and intermediate) while we talk about music theory (harmony, music theory, analysis, etc.) and also a time to listen to recordings and talk about musical appreciation. Besides classical education, I also work with jazz pieces and pop music. It's an hour to have fun, learn and discover.

I have over five years of experience teaching piano and music theory, with children, youth and adults.

I can move to the student's home (Lausanne and Canton of Vaud) and I am flexible with weekly schedules. I adapt to each student and situation!

Classes can be given in French, Spanish or English.

I hold a Master in Classical Violin Pedagogy, issued by the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne and I offer violin lessons for all ages and for all levels! Different styles of music possible: classical, klezmer, jazz, Irish, pop music, covers of all kinds, improvisation, etc. I also have a second Masters in improvisation and composition from the Lucerne Conservatory of Music.

It is from these notions that the quality of sound, intonation, bowing technique, technical skill, expression, and many others arise. I also give importance to well-being, self-confidence, or other abilities that the student would like to acquire.

TRANSVERSE FLUTE: My lessons cover several aspects necessary for good playing of the transverse flute and free musical expression: healthy body posture, stable technique, attentive listening, musicality, personal development. It is from these notions that the quality of sound, digital and respiratory technique, intonation, expression, and many others arise. I also give importance to well-being, self-confidence, or other abilities that the student would like to acquire.

SOLFÈGE: My courses cover several aspects necessary for the successful learning of music theory: strategies for recognizing intervals, chords and rhythms and their executions, singing, musical indications, exercises, attentive listening, musicality. These aspects are essential to instrumental practice, because they first allow you to correctly read a score, then analyze and interpret it.

A passionate guitarist since adolescence, I have been playing for over 14 years in several bands on the French-speaking Swiss scene (notably "Ash the Ash" and "Siebob"), with whom I have recorded two EPs and an album.
Trained at the EMA (École des Musiques Actuelles – Geneva), I followed the stage course there, guitar option, up to the pre-professional diploma.

Curious and versatile, I explore many styles: rock, pop, funk, metal, jazz... Each student is different, and I adapt my lessons to your desires, your level, and your objectives - whether you simply want to have fun, progress seriously, or get on stage!
