Art Class on painting techniques, colour and more.

Having worked in the creative industry as an illustrator, I have extensive knowledge in art history and the technical aspect of art. Alongside my experience within the industry, I also work with children teaching private, and group, art lessons.  As part of my work as an illustrator, I have delivered group workshops and supported artists on a one to one basis. All lessons will be tailored depending on students needs and interest. Art lessons and creative play: Drawing, painting, digital illustration, sculpture, graphic design, bookbinding, GIF/animation, typography, image editing, crafts. GSCE & A-Level Art tutoring. Research, evaluation, sketchbook development. Portfolio development and help with UCAS application, personal statement and interview preparations. Specialised classes in watercolour and gouache painting. Colour theory, colour mixing, style development, understanding materials, sourcing inspiration, painting techniques and options for creating personalised long term projects.

Egg tempera is one of the most ancient historical art painting technique. It preserved as a main technique to paint orthodox religious icons. It is possible to learn it and paint your own icon. I have 9 years of practice teaching people how to do it. We work together step by step to understand the technique, the way to prepare wooden panel to paint an icon and the techniques of making a good project to make the icon fit to the board. We also learn how to make gold leaf layer on the nimbs. Your icon will be a real, crafted icon.

Science is a systematic endeavor that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe. Science is the basic approach all people should learn. Science is the discovery of everything. We are learning Science every day about the new innovations. I am enough confident in teaching science and exploring the knowledge with the students. I am pretty much confident and interested in talking about Science. I will make students understand by showing visuals. I had 3 years of teaching experience as a teacher. I am an arts teacher too. I love to learn and teach new techniques of art. It is very interesting to learn the techniques.

Education is the most important tool in our lives, and to education system is what we need to go though to pass in our every day lives. I have lived and gone through this system, and I am willing to help and share my experience with others who are in need of help of understanding certain subjects or to gain more knowledge in these subjects, then I am here to help. I am currently Studying Fine Art and Psychology at reading university. therefore during my spare time I would to help others to gain more knowledge in Art and deign and biology and maths, from all ages between 3-16 years of age. I have very good insight of these subjects, therefore I would like to teach others with passion, making the sessions more fun and enjoyable for the students.

I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist. I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on. You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns. Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.

Art is a great way to express your feelings and is a great life skill. It allows you to see life from a different perspective and it makes you feel alive. Art has always been an important part of human society since the beginning of time. Art has been used as a tool for cultural exchange, education, and expression. I've finished an art college and it is a big part of my life. I am happy to share my skills and experience with others who have an interest in art. I have an experience in working with children, but I'm also happy to teach adults.

This class is to help artists further their career in Fine Art and prepare their portfolios for submission to University and Foundation Level Courses. It will help with the selection and editing process of putting your work together so that it can be assessed by examiners and also for those of you who would like more insight and feedback from your current artistic practice. Each week we will discuss your practice and you will be set tasks to find your artistic voice in whatever medium you work with. This could be painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, installation or film and new media.

Drawing often seems intimidating for the fact that once you start drawing, you are expected to soon be advanced, skilful and know how to do figure, technical, academical drawing. One of the most important things that I learned through the process of drawing, painting, sketching, is how to relax your body and mind to transfer your soul onto paper, canvas, how to let your curiosity, imagination intertwine with the blissful nature of art. I want to encourage people to seek their own inner voice rather than to copy what's already been done, what I have struggled with for years, even during my lessons in an art school. I want to encourage people to let go of comparing themselves, their skills, abilities, motivation to others and find the pure beauty in passion and love. To free what we often suppress.
