It brought so many positive changes to me, both physically and emotionally, that I wanted to share and share this wonderful gift. This is the reason why I took a Hatha yoga teaching training at the International Arantha Yoga Center in the Netherlands in 2016. Yoga is an integral part of my life. I have been teaching it since January 2017. This discipline being very rich, I continue to train myself by following various courses and internships with renowned teachers and I practice it almost daily. Because being a yoga teacher means being a student for life ... My training in teaching Yin yoga (yoga inspired by Chinese medicine) with Joe Barnett (student of Paul Grilley, founder of Yin yoga) made me discover a completely new facet of yoga. This gentle notion of yoga made me want to explore this ancient practice even more and that's why I decided to embark on a new training course to teach Viniyoga with Philip Rigo in Brussels in September 2019. Viniyoga is a concept of classical yoga which means “just application to practice”. It is a gentle approach to Hatha yoga developed by Krishnamacharya and then by his son TKV Desikachar. “It is yoga that adapts to the student and not the student that adapts to yoga”. This notion implies that yoga is open to everyone. It totally corresponds to my vision of yoga because I take care to adapt my classes to the morphology, physiology and the level of each one. Convinced that yoga brings as many benefits to children as it does to adults, I trained as a yoga teacher for children at Catherine Nozeret in 2017/2018. I have been teaching yoga to children since September 2018.

With my classes I want to pass on the basics of yoga (breathing and right positions) to the people. With my experiences I want to that you guys take over the positive energy from myself and from each others, present in these relaxed, dynamic or whatever mood we have in these classes. I was introduced to yoga at the age of 12/13 and ever since the practice has been in my life. I do have extensive knowledge on life style, nutrition (food is your medicine) and work out techniques in order to become better friends with yourself. I was really passionate about what I have discovered in my journey and how it changed my life so i simply wanted to share this knowledge with people who are interested. Therefore, I obtained my Ashtanga Vinyasa teacher training and Pranayama Breathing Techniques certificate in November 2019 in India. Carried on with my practice in teaching and taking additional workshop classes in Sri Lanka and Bali. I am able to teach all levels of Ashtanga, Vinyasa classes and I also do enjoy adding a bit of a yoga workout classes to keep a nice balance of strengthening of your body. I enjoy one on one lessons ideally in order to truly grasp what you need so that i can develop tailor made classes for you. If you request a group session with your friends it will be max of 4 people per class, so that i can maintain the equal quality of attention I give to all the students attending the class. It has truly been a blessing journey and I would love to share my experience with you!

Yoga is an often misunderstood and misapplied practice. Its universe is vast and I do not claim to comprehend it fully. Personally it is a practice for me to calm myself down and reward my body when agonised. The class will be structured around the student. Flexibility and strength are not requirements but benefits of a regular, dedicated, and committed practice. Depending on the student and the day the class may focus on holding poses, or sequencing them. This class will be useful to both myself and the student to learn more about our anatomy, as well as our nature. Yoga has been a part of my life since its beginning. I was born in India and studied in an Indian school where it was a regular practice for students. I look forward to a strong personal connection with my student where we take it easy or go crazy as the day calls. I like to explain things to people in a language they and their body understand. Yoga is not something that can be scheduled for 2 hours and forgotten about for the rest of the 22 hours. Eventually I foresee long term changes in the student's lifestyle. For example, what you eat during the day will affect greatly your practice in the night. All in all, my class will take an organic and personal system.
