I'm Georgian violinist, currently studying at the concervatory van Amsterdam. I have a lot of experience to play on stage as a soloist as well as in ensembles. I am winner of many national and international competitions. I have had many opportunities to get lessons from many well known teachers, musicians from all over the world. Currently, I get lessons from Prof. Ilya Grubert. It's my pleasure to share my knowledge to others and have a nice music atmosphere!

I am a student studying classical viola in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I like to teach and share my passion of music amongst others. I can teach classical, pop and jazz music-whatever you find most suitable. For me the most important, is for you to come out of the lessons feeling inspired and enriched by music. My violin lessons are shaped in relation to the student's age, goals and interests. I have experience in teaching to children as well as adults and I like the student to have fun while learning such a wonderful thing as playing music. If you are a beginner I'll start with the basic theory, but always in combination with practical approach on the instrument. I'm mostly working with classical music, but I'm also into other genres and I'm very open to help you in any way I can. I can teach in english and in Italian (working on the dutch!) and I can't provide the violin, but I can give some suggestions about where and how to find it. Please contact me if interested!

Dear violin lovers! I'm a violin teacher for 10 years now, I have been teaching in Portugal and the Netherlands. My lessons can be given in English, Portuguese, French or Spanish. I’m Francisca, from Portugal, and I’m taking my bachelor in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I started my music lessons when I was still a baby, going to music for babies lessons! Later, when I was three years old I was very interested in playing the violin and at six years old decided to change to viola! Having the opportunity to share my passion for music with someone it is something very grateful for me!!

My main teaching approach is based on the principles of the Suzuki Method. The lessons are tailored to the specific needs of each student, including game-like exercises and space to be creative and have fun!. I also teach adults who play the violin as a hobby. What is the Suzuki Method? Developed by Shin'ichi Suzuki, a Japanese violinist, and pedagogue who was one of the most influential ones of the 20th century. Through a life-long process of experiences, research and evolution, S.Suzuki created the "Mother Tongue Method" based on the observation that all children learn to speak their native language with ease through listening and repetition. He believed that since very young children could master the complexity of their native language, they could also master playing the violin. I'm a 24 years old Portuguese violist currently living in Amsterdam. I have studied at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Nobuko Imai and Francien Schatborn for 6 years from 2014 till 2020. As a freelancer I work with numerous orchestras such as: Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra and Netherlands Chamber Orchestra, Radio Filharmonisch Orkest and Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. I'm also an active chamber music player, amongst others as a member of the Rotterdam Chamber Music Society. In addition to my private teaching experience, I have also done a teaching internship at the Muziekschool in Amstelveen during my studies, which gave me a lot of experience working with all levels of playing. In my lessons I always go first for the student's aim, what suits him/her the best and always serving the music. And of course having fun and pleasure in music making!
