Trusted teacher: Always passionate about science, holder of a double degree in mathematics and physics, a Master 2 in physics and a doctorate in physics and chemistry. I now give individual or group math and physics/chemistry lessons at all levels, from college to competition preparation. I make sure that the student initially feels comfortable with me and adapt my course to the needs of the student. I place communication and listening at the center of everything, this makes it possible to identify the needs but also the expectations of the student. It is important that the course does not take place in a unilateral way but that there is a constant exchange. I encourage students to always ask questions if something is not clear to them. I always encourage my students so that they don't lose confidence and keep moving forward. A typical session takes place in three stages. At first we will review the theoretical bases that will help the student to assimilate the lesson. An exercise session will follow during which I will accompany him during the resolution. To end with an overall summary of the session in order to highlight the difficulties encountered when solving the exercises. I also plan exercises to prepare for the next session. The duration of the exercises to be prepared is approximately one hour. We are obviously talking here about a typical session, no student is the same, each requires a different methodology. The course of a "typical session" may therefore vary. I adapt to all students. I recommend one hour sessions. If the session is scheduled for more than an hour, a break will be taken halfway through the session. Indeed our concentration drops very quickly, this break is necessary for the student so that he is again focused on the lesson. I recommend regular monitoring. Regularity usually leads to success. Being diligent in one's work makes it possible to assimilate concepts and notions in a homogeneous way. The progress of the student will not be immediate, he must first assimilate the concepts which can take time. The student must also be able to provide a personal commitment, otherwise progress will only be delayed. Do not hesitate to contact me for more details or questions.
