The trumpet is a wonderful instrument. I therefore propose to initiate those who would be interested as well as to help people who are already familiar with this instrument. I've been playing this instrument for 14 years, 10 of which in a conservatory, and I never got tired of it. My way of teaching is mainly based on the management of one's breath and the development of one's musical ear, with breathing exercises, listening, technique etc. Thus, my method is just as suitable for young children who want to learn this instrument, as for older people. My goal is to advance the student without discouraging or overloading with work. That the desire to learn continues. In support, I can lend manuals and sheet music (although I strongly recommend having your own) as well as teach music reading.

My goal is to provide the student with the basic practical knowledge of the transverse flute, from level 0. Such things as learning to hold the instrument, learning to make sound from it and eventually, of course, playing small exercises and pieces. With this base, the student will feel gradually more at ease with the instrument, and gain his/her independence. The method I use is the same I studied when I started playing, as a young child, in the National Conservatory of Lisbon. Althouth this method serves as a guide, I will adapt my classes to the needs and goals of each student.

My lessons are not only about technique of violin playing but also about learning how to listen and deal with music through a certain instrument. Lessons are adopted from the youngest ages (3+) to mature students. If you already are familiar with music theory I offer advices in composition but also music theory lessons as a preparation for music composition.

Holder of two Masters from the Conservatory of Mons, I offer my lessons to new students curious to discover the art of this instrument or to the most seasoned who wish to perfect their technique. I teach music theory full-time in two Brussels academies and have been giving piano lessons on my own for several years. My schedule requires me to give my piano lessons before 3 p.m. because I work afterwards. Composing your own music has always been a very rewarding task. This has never been so true as the present day when you can hear what you compose instantly by using computers to generate and play back your own music. However, to ensure that your music sounds really great there are many principles to be considered. I have had a great interest in composing for over 40 years, composing in a wide variety of styles. Having been a music teacher in a comprehensive school for over 30 years, I have had a lot of very relevant experience in teaching composition to a wide range of different ages and abilities.
