I have a diverse history of working with people of all ages. Most notably, my previous job as an anti-racist participation coordinator for Intercultural Youth Scotland, where I devised and ran both lessons and workshops for young people aged 13-24.

I'm TEFL certified, and my training has enabled me to create lessons for various levels from pre-intermediate to advanced that cover speaking, listening, reading and writing. My name is Afrika (25 years old), and I currently live in Edinburgh, Scotland. I studied a BSc in Ecology and Conservation Biology and will begin my master's in Animal Behaviour: Applications for Conservation in September. In addition to this, I am level-5 TEFL certified, and I am passionate about helping people reach their goals, whether that is learning English or biology. I’m an adaptable professional experienced in fostering engaging learning environments. My diverse industry experience has pushed me to teach and inspire people of all ages.
