The aim of these classes is to encourage the motivation of the student, showing him/her that creativity and curiosity can go beyond what we think we are able to do. For that reason, my role is to captivate what the interest of those who I am teaching and help them towards learning a beautiful language while having fun and developing their creativity. The rest of the class will be based on different activities, once again, depending on the likings and ambitions of the student. Throughout the course, you will be able to try different features like painting, drawing, creative writing, theater, singing, acting, photographing, video editing or music playing. Each week will be based on a project that we will be working on together. The only rule is that the final result will have to be in Spanish! These classes are very flexible and can vary from a very basic level to a quite advanced one, regarding the language. The artistic skills however, due to limitation of the materials available, can only range between beginner and intermediate. For the most little ones, babysitting is available. Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language.
