Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...). For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (...). Depending on your goals, you can learn, if you wish, to play 60 to 80% of current music from the first lessons, which often use the same chords and the same techniques. I have been playing guitar for over 30 years. Starting when I was 15 I walked 5 miles to pick up my first electric guitar and tried to learn all the Beatles songs I was listening to. Since then I have grown and developed new musical tastes and played in several recording bands. I am a singer/songwriter and freelance session vocalist by trade. My lessons focus on creating music rather than simply doing cover songs, although I can help you learn cover songs as well. I began my musical learning journey at the age of 16 with classical singing lessons. I quickly moved on to more contemporary styles of music. Between the ages of 17 and 18, I was lucky enough to be selected for the X Factor television show in France. Following the show, I learned to write my own music and have been writing ever since. My main goal with teaching is to instill a love and appreciation for music and to guide people in creating their own music.
