Hello! I'm Arina, a violist, jazz singer, and composer, and I'm here to offer you personalized viola/violin lessons that will elevate your musical journey. My goal is to help my students express themselves through the instrument while developing their own musical creativity. In my teaching method, I like to find a personal approach for every new student. I'm passionate about sharing insights into ergonomics, ensuring my students can play comfortably. I organize the lessons around my students' favorite music, arranging songs and pieces that they love to match their level and technical needs. I want my students to enjoy music and have fun with it! I can teach classical and pop music, improvisation, and help you practice orchestra and chamber music excerpts. Hello! I am a Portuguese student in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and I play the viola since I am 7. Playing an instrument and reading music can be challenging for a beginner but everything is possible with work and fun! In these lessons, you’ll be able to learn not only the basics of viola/violin playing and to read music, but how to make music and enjoy it! I'm currently studying viola performance and education at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and I have a large experience in teaching, both in schools and privately, beginners or intermediate students. I'm a 24 years old Portuguese violist currently living in Amsterdam. I have studied at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Nobuko Imai and Francien Schatborn for 6 years from 2014 till 2020. As a freelancer I work with numerous orchestras such as: Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra and Netherlands Chamber Orchestra, Radio Filharmonisch Orkest and Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. I'm also an active chamber music player, amongst others as a member of the Rotterdam Chamber Music Society. In addition to my private teaching experience, I have also done a teaching internship at the Muziekschool in Amstelveen during my studies, which gave me a lot of experience working with all levels of playing. In my lessons I always go first for the student's aim, what suits him/her the best and always serving the music. And of course having fun and pleasure in music making!

I offer private, one-to-one viola and violin lessons where I encourage technical and musical development for musicians who range from beginner to advanced levels. I believe that each person has their own way of creating, listening, and connecting to music, and playing the viola/violin is a wonderful way of exploring it. Having started my studies on violin and moved to the viola as a teenager, I had the experience of learning how to shift my technical approach to and from each instrument so that I could feel comfortable and best express the music. I would love to help you build your love and passion for making music. As a teacher, I tailor my lessons to the specific needs of the individual by listening attentively and giving new perspectives to help you flourish. I look at the way you use your instrument to help you refine your technical capabilities in order to become free in your expression. Hello! My name is Gizem and I've graduated from Turku University of Applied Sciences as a Music Pedagogue/Violin and Viola Teacher in 2024. Currently I'm studying Viola in Sibelius Academy. I'm the player of the Maussiell Viola loaned by the OP Bank Art Foundation I have 5 years of experience in both Violin and Viola teaching. I have my education on children's pedagogy but I love teaching to people from all ages! In my lessons, I prioritise my student's goals and wishes.
