Hello! Would you like to play the violin?

I am a professional violinist located in Amsterdam, with teaching experience with children, young and adult ages.

I create a personal and flexible plan for each student depending on your level. I am an open and flexible teacher so I can adapt to the student interests (learning different kind of music as classical, pop, film music, etc.), putting special attention to healthy postural habits.

I got my Bachelor degree in Maastricht Conservatory in 2018, studying with Kyoko Yonemoto. Currently I am following the training on Alexander technique and barroc violin studies.

Did you always want to learn cello from zero and never had the opportunity to start, or do you want to improve your already learned skills? Then I can definitely help you! I am a Spanish cellist based in Amsterdam since 2008 with more than 10 years experience of teaching.

I offer lessons for all ages and levels, in English, Dutch and Spanish.

Here is a small resume of the lessons I offer:

1. Cello and/or baroque cello lessons: All levels.
The lessons will be focused on two basic elements: Technic of the instrument and developing musical skills.

2. Music theory: Beginners.
Basics of music, such as reading notes, rules and analysis. This field is as important as learning the instrument for it complements the process in music performance.

3. Music History: All levels
The lessons will give a full understanding of the historical development of music, with a complete historical context of the arts, politics and society. These lessons are a key point to students of conservatories and musicians to complement their music knowledge.

Graduated in medicine and finishing my studies of electric bass performance at the Utrecht Conservatory. Currently working as a music producer, bass player and songwriter.

Seven years of experience as a music teacher teaching electric bass technique, modern ensembles and music theory.

My interest is to approach music from its most creative perspective. The course is based on practical projects. Students are guided to create musical, audio-visual and even visual pieces using their qualities and interests. For this, students need to develop qualities strictly linked to knowledge of music or the instrument. In this way, the learning process becomes a more fun, stimulating and enriching process for the student.

For those young students who wish to learn music and perhaps later pursue higher studies in music, I offer a preparation course for the higher exams that includes the necessary training in harmony, music theory and the performance of the electric bass. In this case, it is mandatory that the student is willing to commit and has the time necessary for preparation.

Private lessons for beginners to advanced level of flute playing. All ages are welcome. I am a professionally trained teacher and flutist for almost two decades. My lessons are given in English, Spanish and (soon) Dutch.

My teaching method is variable depending on the students' needs, but the goal is shared: to make a great musician and qualified flutist out of the pupil. I work on both technical and musical aspects from a healthy and enjoyable perspective. Particular emphasis on having fun with the little ones!

I pay special attention to creating a personalized education and experience for every one of my students. I also give some additional tools applicable to the flute playing which includes: The Inner Game of Music, Feldenkrais, Alexander Technique and Body & Mind. All the basic theory is taught too.

I am an enthusiastic and passionated guitarist graduated from Conservatorium Van Amsterdam. My professional and academic musical life has inspired me to approach my teaching method in a fun, interactive and productive way.
