Born in Barcelona and a resident of Geneva since 2019, I worked for five years as a biology researcher at the University of Geneva and have over ten years of experience as a private tutor in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology for secondary school students (grades 7-9) and adults. My students have consistently achieved excellent results.
I offer in-home tutoring for students preparing for the French Baccalaureate exam (maturité) in the following subjects: mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology. The goal of my lessons is to provide solid academic support and effective preparation for the scientific Baccalaureate for students experiencing difficulties. I travel directly to the student's home for more personalized instruction and remain available to answer their questions promptly via text or email, even outside of class time. I tailor my lessons to each student's specific needs. My methodology focuses on analyzing difficulties and finding appropriate solutions. I prepare theoretical or practical explanations as needed and select the most relevant exercises to deepen understanding of the academic content. I help students reason and develop logical problem-solving methods, avoiding reliance on automatic responses or rote memorization. The pace of work is, of course, adapted to each student's needs and abilities to ensure optimal learning.
