I am an MA geography student at the University of Edinburgh who studied IB HL Geography where i earnt a 7, as well as writing my extended essay within the geographic field on coral bleaching, earning 3/3 points. I have been tutoring for three years and in that time have taught IB, A-level (AQA, CIE, OCR and edexcel), Higher, Advanced Higher, GCSE and National 5. Furthermore I can provide tips to help if you are wanting to study geography at uni, if you need help with assignments (IAs or NEAs) or simply help you work through the parts to geography that makes you simply go "uhhmmm what", I've asked plenty of silly Qs in my time so please don't be afraid! I offer a friendly but educational approach to tutoring which is relaxed yet formative, encouraging students to think critically of what they are being asked to do and the most effective way to go about questions. I myself am a bubbly individual who believes learning is easiest through examples, so I use many case studies to inspire further independent learning for the student. I like to learn what students are struggling to grasp, work through any mind boggling definitions and further delve into the topic for a richer understanding for those extra marks in the exams. When necessary, I can mark practice exam questions that students have answered to provide feedback, as this enables students to see what examiners look for in their answers and helps portray areas that need further consolidation.

Daarnaast biedt ik voor leerlingen van het Middelbaar Onderwijs ondersteuning bij leren Studeren en Organiseren van de studie stof en het maak werk. - Samen lezen we teksten voor die passen bij de groep, leeftijd en interesse van de leerling om het lezen plezierig en leuk te maken. Waar nodig verbeter ik de leerling. Ook doen we korte oefeningen die het leren lezen bevorderen. - Het bestuderen van toetsen is niet voor elke leerling gemakkelijk. Als jonge leerling is het nog lastig om hoofd en bijzaken van elkaar te scheiden. Toetsen in de vakken geschiedenis, aardrijkskunde of biologie kan ik bij helpen. Samen gaan we door de leerstof en brengen de hoofdzaken in kaart. Aan de hand van tekeningen laat ik de leerling de stof bestuderen. Door het voor een kind beeldend te maken is het leuker om te leren en gemakkelijker om te onthouden. Voor leerlingen van het Middelbaar Onderwijs doe ik dit enkel indien gewenst. - Het organiseren van leer en maak werk is niet altijd gemakkelijk, wel is het fijn om als leerling, vooral van het Middelbaar Onderwijs, een overzicht te hebben van wat er bestudeerd moet worden voor een toets en wanneer de leerling hier voor gaat zitten. Samen kunnen we in kaart brengen wat de leerling te leren heeft, hoe we dit gaan verdelen over de beschikbare dagen. Vervolgens help ik bij het in actie komen en het schema aanhouden. Hierbij komt het motiveren van de leerling bij kijken. Zijn er andere verzoeken waarvan je als verzorger of ouder denkt dat deze ook tijdens de bijeenkomst behandelt kunnen worden binnen wat ik aan bied, schroom niet om mij een vrijblijvend bericht te sturen. Indien gewenst is een 90 minuten sessie bespreekbaar.

I give English lessons in Tunis or online to all levels varying from beginner to advanced individually or for a group. The lesson can be done in the customers house depending on their preference.
