After living in the United States for two years, I am currently pursuing a double major Anglais/Etudes Internationales at the Sorbonne University in Paris. My experience in France has taught me that due to the specific nature of the English language and the limited time to practice it, there is an issue when it comes to conversational English. This is what my lessons will focus on - everyday conversational English, correction of accent, learning about stress and sentence dynamics which help you to sound more natural and understanding of phonology and the IPA transcription. If you are shy when it comes to expressing yourself in front of others; if you find yourself lacking the "proper" expressions or tools to engage in everyday conversations; or if you just want to learn what does "hitting the books", "to lose your touch", or to "pitch in" mean - this class is probably for you. Always enjoying languages, I grew up in an international culture and school. I indeed lived 6 years in Italy during my childhood and therefore speak fluent Italian. This made it easier for me to learn English (obtaining Cambridge KET level in 6th grade) and German, which I present all three at the baccalaureate. I also learned Spanish on a personal basis by passion for languages! Having therefore learned four foreign languages myself, I am passionate about this objective and will take great pleasure in helping you achieve it. I am an experienced English teacher (3 years experience teaching the English language). In 2018, I taught English in Shanghai, China, and now I am based in Paris, France. I have experience giving one-on-one lessons, teaching in a classroom, and teaching English online. I am happy to teach to both children and adults. I am a native English speaker currently studying at University, I have been teaching English for the last year. I am happy to teach any level speaker, I can also specialise in conversational English or really help with the grammar foreign speakers can struggle with. I am also a former literature student who can help with English Literature comprehension too. I have a lot of great resources and experience, and would love to additionally share films, books and English culture with my students.

Passionate about languages, I want to share this passion with others. Bilingual in Spanish, French and English, with a B2 level in Portuguese, I am currently in the second year of a Japanese LLCER at INALCO (National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations). Having given FLE and ESL lessons to teenagers and young adults, I was also a babysitter and English tutor for a year.
