English for kids - fun & engaging English conversation lessons

Holder of a general baccalaureate, I would like to help the pupils having difficulties for one or more school subjects of the primary level or college. The course is either to help students with their homework or to work on these subjects spontaneously according to the needs of the child. I am available from June.

Hello ! My name is Jeanne, I am a master's student at Sciences Po Paris. I am in Strasbourg from July to December for an internship, and am looking to give private lessons or help with homework on weekday evenings or weekends. I have been helping with homework for five years, from CE2 to second with different students. I have a rather literary profile but like all subjects, including science (bac L mention TB, maths option). I did a double bachelor's degree between Sciences Po Paris in social sciences and La Sorbonne in philosophy. I did my third year of license in Toronto, Canada, and am therefore bilingual in English. I offer three types of courses to choose from, so you can choose one course or choose two or all three. For English lessons: The objective is to improve your level of English on all points (grammar, conjugation, vocabulary...). The courses can focus on a specific area or on various and varied areas. The learning will be done by classic exercises (school types) but also by activities allowing a more interactive learning. For pupils or students, it will also be a question of reworking the exercises seen in class, revising for exams or controls but also working on the weak points. For science courses: The objective is to rework the different chapters seen in class, rework the science practicals as much as possible, prepare for exams or even prepare before the different start of the school year. By science we must here understand SVT, Chemistry mainly but also Physics and Mathematics. It is also a question of proposing different learning techniques in order to allow a better understanding of these subjects. For history lessons: The objective remains essentially the same as for science lessons. Indeed I propose to rework the different elements seen in class but also to prepare for the start of the school year and exams. I could work with the books provided by the school as support, but I would also work on books that I would bring back myself in order to avoid any additional costs. I am able to provide history lessons on all eras that can be addressed in class.

Mathematics, like the physical sciences, are sciences which result from logical reasoning but which often pose problems of comprehension for some pupils. So I will teach you reasoning methods to try to help you better understand and solve certain problems.

Listening and observing, I offer interactive tutoring courses for all levels or language learning. I am almost bilingual in English and have achieved very good results in all disciplines during my schooling. I am in terminal and I have tutoring during my high school years to help college students in difficulty. Indeed I like to help and teach. The lessons are made to improve and evolve I am not a supporter of by heart and prefer to make the student understand the concept with examples from everyday life.

English is an international language, so why not improve and deepen your knowledge of the language? I am in LLCE English license and give courses going from the smallest to the high school. I am available above all to help with gaps and points not mastered by the students.

Je suis doctorante en Linguistique Cognitive au Laboratoire MoDyCo (Université Paris-Nanterre) et j'ai une expérience approfondie dans l'enseignement de la langue italienne. Je donne des cours privés d'italien depuis plusieurs années, j'ai été professeur d'italien dans plusieurs lycées parisiens (ex. Lycée Janson de Sailly, Lycée Duruy, Lycée Claude Monet) et j'ai l'habitude de suivre et de préparer des élèves pour les épreuves du BAC et les examens des certifications linguistiques. Je suis à l'aise avec tout type d'élèves: des enfants, des écoliers et des adultes. Je peux aussi donner des cours spécifiques (ex. apprentissage de l'italien pour questions professionnelles, développement exclusif des compétences orales ou écrites, etc.). Le choix de sujets à traiter peut être discuté et défini ensemble, ainsi que la "modernité" du matériel à utiliser lors des cours.

I am Manel Algerian student at UPMC (University Pierre and Marie Curie, Paris VI) I offer courses in math and English for students (from primary to high school). I already have a Baccalaureate with honors (18.5 / 20 in Mathematics, 19/20 in English), I also spent a year studying at an institute of electrical and electronic engineering where all Classes are given in English (English is my everyday language).
