About Me

Hello, my name is Aba. I am half Dutch, half Ghanaian and have lived in both countries. I have attended an international school my whole life, following the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the International Baccalaureate (IB). Therefore, I have a good understanding of the inner workings of the IB. On top of that I am a certified Writing Support Provider. Writing is an important part of the IB regardless of the subject. During my time as a writing support provider I helped students from various IB subjects English, History, Global Politics and even Biology. When I was in the IB, I was not the best at Maths but was too intimidated to ask for help. Therefore, I aim to be an approachable tutor for others. I am experienced, patient and organised. I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years.
