Hi everyone!

I read English Literature and Language at Oxford University and then tutored in those subjects, and philosophy, before becoming a journalist. I was a foreign correspondent for the British and American press in the Middle East for ten years, and taught journalism skills classes out there.

Nowadays, I'm completing my legal training for the English Bar and have studied International Human Rights Law for my Master's degree back at Oxford. I specialise in human rights and climate change, business and human rights, refugees, and the rights of children. I can also teach the foundations of the common law system.

So, if you need to brush up on your Shakespeare, understand the Paris Agreement, or would just like to practice your English idioms out, please get in touch!

Hi! I'm Léa and I'm a French Erasmus exchange student at the University of Copenhagen this year. I'm in my third year of studies at Sciences Po Toulouse and I'd like to give French and/or English classes for all levels (A1 to C1) a few hours per week. As a French native speaker I would like to give classes to people who wish to learn French or improve their skills in that language. Furthermore, I've a C1 level in English (TOEFL iBT : 100 points in December 2019 ; CEFR level C2) and practise this language since about 10 years. I am a friendly teacher who teaches mathematics and physics to Highschool and Bachelor students, in English or French. I have studied Mathematics and Physics for 4 years in France in preparatory class (MP) and in my Engineering School (Ecole Centrale de Lyon). I am Faustine, a 22-year-old student in the Master of Public Policy - specializing in Culture at Sciences Po Paris. As part of my final master's internship, I work as a producer at Dansehallerne, a cultural structure that programs dance and co-produces international choreographers.

I am available to give private lessons in French, English, history and for homework help in middle and high school. I worked for a year in Paris, in a private tutoring agency, thanks to which I was able to provide support to several middle and high school students in these subjects. Student at ESCP after 3 years of preparatory class at the Lycée Henri IV in Paris (in the B/L stream, i.e. Letters and Social Sciences), I offer to accompany your children during their middle and high school years. Holder of a scientific baccalaureate and a degree in Mathematics from the Sorbonne validated in 2022 and equipped with a literary background thanks to the B/L, I am able to follow your children on very varied subjects and I want to share all the theoretical knowledge that I have been able to acquire and my taste for learning with any student in difficulty to whom I could help.

A patient, attentive teacher, I adapt to the needs of each student to help them progress as best as possible. I myself have made enormous progress in CPGE. I have gained in rigor and efficiency in 3 years and I would like to share both my working method and my rigor with my students.

Typical math courses for example:

- I start the lesson by asking the student questions to identify his main difficulties and I answer any questions he may have.

- I then suggest several standard exercises to him to then make a method sheet and identify precisely what are the steps to follow when faced with this or that type of exercise.

- Finally, I offer him more complex exercises so that he learns to cultivate his intuition in the face of a mathematical exercise.

Of course, this is only a typical process, I adapt to the needs and wishes of the student, a course is above all a dialogue. The main thing is that the student feels as comfortable as possible to ask all the questions that come to him and gain confidence!
