I offer conversations and culture exchanges for people who are interested in China. During our 'lessons', not only I would teach you to speak in a systematic way to master the language but more importantly for you to understand how to actually communicate with the Chinese people. I would tutor you what you would not learn from a conventional Chinese classroom. I engage and encourage lively debate on politics, culture, history and all subjects that interest you. I am a native English, French Japanese and Chinese speaker. I have taught beginning and intermediate English to children and young adults since October 2017. I have also been teaching Chinese to students from absolute beginners to advanced levels. I have as well tutored Chinese to learners of varying levels in private lessons for 2 years. I pay attention to teaching students the Japanese and Chinese business etiquette and cultural tips for living and working in the Japanese and Chinese societies. I am excellent at catering to the individual needs of the students and plan their learning in a tailor-made manner to pinpoint their shortcomings and accelerate their language improvement. I also pay attention to details and give honest and practical feedback and advice to learners.

Le cours de chinois vise à faire connaître aux élèves la langue et la culture chinoise. La grammaire sera enseignée de façon ludique.

On travaillera la construction de phrases dans des expressions vivantes, des chansons, des histoires, des découpes de papier, des peintures chinoises, des recettes traditionnelles, etc...

Les élèves apprennent à s’exprimer et à comprendre des phrases simples dans des scènes de dialogue de la vie quotidienne ou scolaire.

L’écriture de caractères sera présentée par le logiciel d’enseignement, et sera ensuite pratiquée dans des exercices de calligraphie.

Evaluation : Compréhension, orale et écrite, certifiée par un diplôme HSK (HSK1-HSK6) de l’Institut Confucius à l’Université de Luxembourg.

Possibilité d’un voyage culturel en Chine.

I will teach you the most authentic Chinese language and culture through films, animations and children's songs, giving you insight into the mysteries and depths of the Eastern world. You then think that Chinese is not a difficult language, and in fact it is not. Chinese is the main language spoken in the second largest economy and is also a very valuable language economically. My name is Hui and I am a trained Chinese language teacher from Singapore with more than 20 years of teaching experience.

During my long stay in Europe, I've continuously taught Chinese language to many students, both adults and adolescents. I had the opportunity to teach in different schools in various European cities such as Brussels, and also currently at the Luxembourg School of Business.

My lessons are tailored to your study objectives and learning pace. Through the personalized Chinese lessons, I'll help you learn and master Chinese language with fun and ease !

Mandarin speaking practice sessions are also available via online lessons.

Lessons are generally conducted at student’s home (Luxembourg city and peripheral towns), office or a quiet public place, as well as via online platforms such as ZOOM and Whereby.
