Hello! My name is Samantha and I am a native English speaker from Canada. As a trained linguist with plenty of experience teaching/tutoring English, I am well-equipped to tutor students of any age or level of experience.
I have worked with learners of all ages - from kindergarten to university students, and I've taught students from all over the world! I believe the best way to learn a new language and improve your skills is by practicing with a native speaker. I provide my students with the opportunity to improve their reading, writing, speaking, comprehension and conversation skills and to help them feel confident and comfortable in English.

I am a very friendly, outgoing and easygoing person who loves everything about learning new languages - I have taken some German, French, and most recently, Sign Language!
I have a degree in linguistics and am trained in teaching English as a second language. I have worked with learners of all ages - from kindergarten to university students. I've taught students from all over the world!

I received my degree from the University of Victoria, where I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics, with a focus on language and speech. I have future plans to pursue a Master's in speech pathology.
