Student in 3rd year of college, I give mathematics classes for students from primary to secondary school.

For the course of 1h: I will take the time to do a summary for 15-20 min and the rest will be exercises.
An effective method that will help to understand the theory and reinforce it with practice.

I will also put tests in situation so that the student can manage his stress.

I am very patient and pedagogue, and will only get personal satisfaction once the student understands everything.

My major is Physics and I can speak and write English well. My target is to make students familiar with English and keep students challenged. I would like to give homework after every lesson for students to review and provide periodic progress reports for parents.

Hello, I am a 3rd year Bachelor student in Environmental Sciences and Engineering and an assistant in Advanced Chemistry for Engineers at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). I teach Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Natural Sciences, Biology which are branches that I studied in depth during my university studies. A native French speaker, I also offer French lessons to English-speaking or German-speaking people. A teacher, dynamic and patient, I offer quality support adapted to each student. I can travel to the City of Geneva.

Hello,

Coming from an engineering branch following a preparatory class for the Grandes Ecoles (CPGE), I took a scientific master's degree in quantitative finance and data analysis from EM Lyon.
Having always given private lessons since my years of study, I continue today to transmit my knowledge of science as best as I can.
The goal for me is to allow any student, and whatever his level, to become autonomous while allowing him to have the most satisfactory results possible.
My availabilities :
- weekends or weekday mornings.

CONTENTS :
This course is aimed at university students, in the field of mathematics. This course is also suitable for students at EPFL as well as students of mathematics and physics), but also for faculties of economics (except economic mathematics), or medicine for example.
The goal is simple: to help you understand by yourself and acquire an intuition of the desired mathematical concepts, as well as the resolution of the exercises.

The courses cover a number of subjects. The student chooses the desired branch (the choices are listed below (*).
Additional drills can be provided upon request.

(*)The topics covered in this course are:
-Analysis I, Advanced Analysis I [one-variable real analysis, integration, etc...]
-Analysis II, Advanced Analysis II [real multivariate analysis, integration, differential equations, etc...]
-Linear Algebra I [linear maps, matrices, determinants, diagonalization (AL2), etc...]
-Advanced Linear Algebra I [AL1, dual spaces, multilinear forms, groups, rings, fields, etc...]
-Advanced Linear Algebra II [Gram-Schmidt, Orthogonality, Sylvester, SVD, QR, MSA, Jordan, SEDL, Hermite, Smith]
-Algebraic structures [Basic logic, sets, equivalence relations, classes, quotients, groups, etc...]
-Discrete mathematics [combinatorics, generating functions, basis of graph theory, probabilistic approach]

Note: For more information regarding the contents of the topics, we can discuss. The courses are flexible.

SIZE:
The course can be given face-to-face in the Lausanne region (preferably Renens / Ecublens) or Geneva (preferably center) depending on my travel availability (this is to be agreed by message with me directly, this option only appears by default in my schedules available below). Otherwise, the course is generally given by Zoom with screen sharing where I generally write by hand).
The notes during the course are sent to the student after the course is completed in PDF format.
For more availability, please contact me.

The courses are based on my experience (EPFL, mathematics section).

Hoping to be able to help you.

I am a student at the University of Geneva in a Master of Economics following obtaining my Bachelor in International Relations, my maturity with the Physics Option and application of Mathematics as well as two prizes; Best average in the town of Grand-Saconnex as well as the Rotary Club prize.
I am looking to give courses to meet my student needs and various university costs.
What you are going through right now, mathematically speaking, I went through once at the ECG and when obtaining my high school maturity as well as at university. So I really think I can guide you to the right place, and above all, to your academic success!!

I am Fares, a qualified mathematics teacher, and I have been helping students succeed in mathematics for over 6 years.
But all of that is unimportant! What really matters is:
Will we achieve results together?

If you choose a good math teacher, you will surely get some results.
If you choose a really good math teacher, you'll get results quickly and in the long run. That's what I consider to be: a really good math teacher (and my students agree :).

When I talk about the long term, it's because I believe a private tutor shouldn't follow a student throughout their entire schooling. Far from it!
A private tutor is there to, on the one hand, fill in the student's gaps, and on the other hand, provide them with the necessary tools so that they can, one day, fly on their own.

What I commit to:

📈 1 Significant results!

My approach is focused on rapid and measurable progress.
By achieving good results quickly, the student gains confidence, which encourages them to invest more effort and achieve even better results.

💡 2 Simple methods!
I strive to make concepts that can sometimes seem complicated easy to understand. I teach clear and effective techniques for succeeding in both homework and exams.

🤝 3 Courses tailored to you!
I prepare each lesson according to the specific difficulties of the student in order to maximize their learning, while respecting their pace and availability.

Become comfortable in class, get grades you're proud of, and rediscover the joy of learning.
