Hello! My name is Kate and I am an Australian who is has been living in France since 2019. I am fluent in French and English is obviously my native language. My educational background: I hold a Masters of Art Therapy from The University of Paris with a major in music therapy, a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) with majors in Music and Psychology, and a Diploma of Languages with a major in French from The University of Queensland, Australia. As a native English speaker my goal is to instill confidence in my students (of all ages) of their ability to speak, use, and understand English. I use a variety of interactive methods including songs, actions, rhymes, books, and music. I am firm believer in 'trying' and as such I will encourage my students to use their English, regardless of how many faults they may make. It is only from making errors, that we can improve! The method that we will follow for the lessons will depend on the needs of the student that we will define during our first interview. We can proceed either by oral interviews with the deepening of grammar, vocabulary and conjugation or by written exercises of comprehension of texts and deepening of grammar, vocabulary and conjugation in writing by the dictation and reading of texts.
