About Me
My name is Lucía, I am from Tenerife and I currently live in Madrid. From a very young age
I started working as a teacher, in a small English academy, where I taught classes
for several years. Little by little I discovered that, more than a job, it was a passion, and I decided to guide
my work training towards that field. I studied Hispanic Philology, and I specialized in doing
two ELE Masters in Barcelona. Although I made the decision to teach Spanish, many of my
jobs have consisted of teaching English, since it is a language that I am passionate about and, since very
little one I learned. At the end of the Master's degree, I went to the United States for a year, with the Teaching Assistant scholarship.
Conversation, to a small town in Georgia. There I improved my teaching work and perfected
my English, in addition to enriching me culturally. Later, upon returning to Spain, I decided
moving to Madrid, where I worked in different companies, in addition to acquiring my C1 certificate
by the University of Cambridge and the CAP, as well as the authorization to teach English in
charter schools in Madrid.
Regarding my work experience, for several years I worked in different Language academies,
teaching ELE, English, and Spanish Language. In the United States I also taught both
languages, due to the large number of Spanish speakers in the area. In recent years, I have worked
in Training Schools with adults, in an English academy with children during several courses
and, finally, in a charter school as an ESO English and Spanish Language teacher.
I am used to working with
