Alternativamente a los lenguajes de programación me considero un fanático de las distribucionesGNU/Linux llevando más de cinco años utilizándolo como herramienta principal de trabajo desde el punto de vista del desarrollo de software tanto en entornos web, móvil y escritorio. He probado distribuciones tales como: Debian y sus derivados, CentOS y un sin número de mini distribuciones que destacan por su bajo consumo de recursos como: Slitaz, Puppy Linux, Tiny Core, entre otras. He llevado a cabo la instalación y configuración de múltiples servicios como firewall, proxy, samba, bases de datos como Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, además de las distintas herramientas de desarrollo de software.
