I worked in a language school and at the universities, I suppose that I gained success. 😊 My achievements are directly proportional to my students’ success. My students are mostly teachers, consulate officers, international business people, and also travellers. I feel rewarded when I witness their progress in applying their Turkish language skills to their daily lives. Over the years, I have met hundreds of people from all over the world, taught Turkish, and told them about Istanbul and Turkey. Those people told me about their countries and learned to express themselves in Turkish. For example, I ask them: “Do you like Istanbul?” in Turkish it is “İstanbul’u surveyor museum?” or “ Traffic is very bad in Istanbul!”, “İstanbul’ da çok Trafik var!” The basic but correct conversation is really important for self-confidence in any language. If a learner can master basic sentence forms, the rest will come much easier. On the other hand, making mistakes is also very important. Especially, a learner can not speak without making a mistake the first and second time. My students are always varied and have diverse learning skills. My professionalism also allows me to tailor language education according to individual interests, needs, and capacities. In the classroom, I hold firm three main principles: first, providing a comfortable environment, second, creating an encouraging atmosphere, and third, establishing a collaborative instruction model. I am having Swedish lessons with Sebastian now for 2,5 months since I must get to a certain language level for my new job. I was looking around for someone who could support my own learning strategy to accomplish the best result in 4-5 months. I had an extremely hard time finding someone who stood open for this idea, until I spoke with Sebastian. He immediately supported my wishes, knowing that there are different types of learning methods. During the process so far, he encourages me to speak as much Swedish as possible. By using different ways of learning, each lesson so far contained a little surprise that helped me to stay focused. Sebastian is reliable, patient and stays enthusiastic although I can ask difficult questions sometimes. He gives direct feedback on the work I am doing in a nice manner, but he stays also open to feedback on his own teaching methods and skills. This all makes my learning process and experience efficient, keeps me enthusiastic and curious to learn more. In addition, for me it was also important to have flexibility in the planning due to my work schedule. So far, Sebastian has been very flexible. We never had a week that it was not possible to find a date and time that suited both of us. I will continue my learning experience with Sebastian the coming months, but I hope that you will also give him your trust and choose him to become your teacher!

I am following a class with Başak to learn turkish. The lessons are held in english. This course covers pronunciation, grammar and free speaking which are also adapted to daily life situations as well as speaking about yourself. I have experienced a very well organized and structured teacher on a professional basis. The teacher gives clear instructions, pays attention to the pronunciation and corrects you when needed, which is crucial for the turkish pronunciation. The course fees contain the tuition as booked and course material as the class is accompanied by a book (workbook and exercise book) and audio files. The books are sent to you in advance, makes it very convenient to take a print out or as a digital version on your tablet/PC/phone. Between the lessons homework will be assigned and checked by her via mail and discussed in the next lesson. So far, I am very happy with the lessons and I am also confident that I will improve my turkish steadily in the future with her. Thanks

I've had different Spanish teachers but Tanya is by far the best for several reasons: - Tanya makes a personal plan together with me which fits perfectly with my learning goals. So no unnecessary grammar but only things whichs helps me with my reason why I approached her - She developed her own personal learning style which helps me making huge steps in a short time - Tanya shows she's well prepared and the work we do and the homework I get is always in extend of the things I want to learn - Besides that she's always happy and a nice person to chat with Quick sumarry: if you want to learn Spanish in a good/fast way with a teacher who is always happy, I would highly recommend Tanya :)
