Ik studeer Wiskunde aan de University of Cambridge (behaalde mijn bachelor met grootste onderscheiding in juni 2023, ik begin aan mijn master in oktober 2023) en behaalde systematisch >90% op wiskunde en fysica.

Mijn wiskundeleerkracht schreef over mij in haar aanbevelingsbrief voor de University of Cambridge: “And very important as well, he is a good communicator and apt to share his knowledge. Whenever we do teamwork, a quiz or a game in the classroom, everyone wants to be in the same group as Zephyr.”

Ik heb 4 jongere broers die me regelmatig om hulp vragen als ze vastzitten met hun schoolwerk. Door hen hiermee te helpen heb ik geleerd hoe ik leerstof moet uitleggen. In 2019 ben ik begonnen met betalend bijles geven. Ondertussen heb ik al bijles gegeven aan tientallen studenten, voor leerstof middelbare school, en voorbereiding op ingangsexamens voor universiteiten.

Het is belangrijk voor mij om op het einde van de eerste les met jullie, ouders en leerling, te bespreken of hetgeen jullie verwachten haalbaar zal zijn. Zo kan ik zeker zijn dat jullie tevreden zullen zijn met de lessen.

Mijn doel is om de student zo snel mogelijk bij te spijkeren in elk gebied waar er een achterstand is, zodat de student niet nog meer achterloopt.

In 2023, I've obtained a Master degree in Linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. I've achieved the C1+ levels in English, on the CEFR scale. I have 2 years of experience living in London, where I acquired RP (received pronunciation) and 7 years of experience in the International Academia (Amsterdam). My linguistic background gives me the capacity to explain the sounds and various processes of the language, from a perspective many natives do not know. In teaching, I practice the holistic approach. It is my belief that language is for people of every age and education, but I'm aware that everyone deserves a personal approach. In the first session, we always do a needs analysis and become acquainted, to make sure we click as people and will enjoy working away at your personal language goals.

As a tutor for GRE Quants, GMAT and SAT Quants, my class would focus on providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the mathematical concepts and problem-solving strategies necessary to excel on these exams.

The class would be divided into various sections, such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data analysis. Each section would cover the relevant concepts, formulas, and problem-solving techniques. There would be lots of practice problems and quizzes provided to help students test their understanding and identify areas where they need further practice.

Hello! Since 2023, I have been continuing my Dutch lessons with pleasure with students who live or want to live in the Netherlands and want to prepare for the citizenship exam (Inburgeringsexamen).

As an educator who completed the citizenship exams a long time ago, with my 12 years of foreign language teaching experience, I help you with language learning and exam preparation, while also guiding you by sharing tips for the exam.

While I plan my lessons in line with the needs of the student, I include listening, reading, speaking and writing skills in the lesson plan in accordance with the exam format. I also support you in the fifth step of the exam, KNM (Kennis Nederlandse Maatschappij - Dutch Social Knowledge). You can request lessons that cover all parts of the exam or specific language skills (listening, reading, speaking and writing).
