Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. **Class suggestions and indications** No experience is needed just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music. Classes can be given either in English, Spanish, French or Deutsch. There are no limit for styles, bring your favorite music and I will provide a safe environment for your personal and musical growth. Composition is hard to define and is by no means limited to one particular style or genre. Our meetings would provide a framework and the context for you to delve deeper into your chosen ideas and creations. As well as composition, I am able to assist you with music theory, ear training, piano and general musicianship. I plan my lessons individually and orientate myself towards your goals. Whether you want to create a Bach fugue or a new single for your EDM album, I would be there to support your stylistic decisions.

Ich bin eine griechische Geigerin, ursprünglich aus Thessaloniki. Seit 2009 wohne ich in Wien und habe hier mein Studium absolviert am MUK Privatuniversität in der Klasse von Lidia Baich. Vorher habe ich in Moskau am Gnessin Institut studiert. Es ist mir besonders wichtig, während der Unterrichtsstunde, meinen Studenten die Möglichkeit zu bieten, Musik zu erfahren und sich selbst in dieser schönen Sprache auszudrücken. Da ich selbst von der russischen Schule komme, werden die Grundprinzipien der Geige mit Klangschönheit, Expressivität und einem musikalischen Charakter kombiniert. Und natürlich darf der Humor dabei nicht abwesend sein!

I'm Ed, an English musician studying a Master's course in composition here in Vienna. I've been teaching piano and guitar for two years now, having played both for over 14 years! I completed my Bachelor's degree in music (2022) in Liverpool, UK, and received the highest grade: first class honours. I love music and have a great passion to pass on my knowledge and enthusiasm to as many people as I can! I have two years experience of teaching both children and adults in different styles: coaching some students to passing classical piano exams, while teaching others simply how to play their favourite pop songs as well as working on general technique. I have even been helping some students write their own songs, since this is actually my main strength as a musician and one of the things I find most fulfilling about music. Above all, the most important thing for me is encouraging and nurturing the love of music in my students. I am an Italian pianist with a degree from the F. Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, performances at home and abroad and international CD releases. I offer piano accompaniment for instrumentalists and singers. The Italian version of the native language is, I can optimally support singers in the pronunciation of the Italian opera repertoire. In addition to my extensive experience accompanying singers, I have extensive chamber music experience, having performed in duos, trios and quintets and accompanying string players in auditions, competitions and master classes on many different occasions.
