About Me

👩‍🏫 Who am I as a teacher?

A passionate, patient, and dedicated teacher, I firmly believe that everyone can succeed—with the right support and regular practice. I’m convinced there’s no such thing as a “bad student,” only students who haven’t yet found the right method, the right rhythm, or the right person to guide them.

With a background in literature, philosophy, and pedagogy, I design my lessons as sessions of real, step-by-step progress. We move forward gradually, we practice, we make mistakes, we try again... and we improve. Because to me, consistent practice is the true key to success. The more you practice, the more confident and fluent you become—both in writing and speaking.

My teaching style is both demanding and kind. I help my students recognize their strengths, work on their weaknesses without discouragement, and most of all, understand exactly what is expected of them—whether it’s for the French baccalaureate, an assignment, or simply to express themselves more clearly.

Every student is unique, which is why my lessons are personalized and adapted to each individual: their level, goals, learning style, and any challenges they may face. Everything is taken into account to help them progress efficiently and at their own pace.

✨ What do my students appreciate?
My ability to make things clear, my positive energy, and my unwavering support. With me, we work seriously—but always in a calm and motivating atmosphere. Together, we give ourselves the means to succeed.

Education

Passionate about the French language, literature, and the transmission of knowledge, I have built a rich and coherent academic path centered on teaching French, both to native speakers and to learners of French as a foreign language.

In 2020, I earned a Literary Baccalauréat with highest honors (Très Bien). This education gave me a strong general culture, excellent written and oral language skills, and a well-developed capacity for critical analysis and expression.

From 2020 to 2022, I completed two years of intensive preparatory classes (Hypokhâgne/Khâgne A/L) with a specialization in Modern Literature. These demanding years helped me develop rigorous intellectual discipline, advanced skills in literary analysis and essay writing, as well as the ability to tackle complex topics under time constraints. They also sharpened my work methods and sense of autonomy.

In 2021–2022, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, with honors. This year allowed me to deepen my critical thinking, explore major philosophical schools of thought, and strengthen my writing skills—especially useful for argumentation, pedagogy, and structured thinking.

In 2022–2023, I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Literature, also with honors. During this year, I solidified my knowledge of French literature, linguistics, and stylistics, while discovering new tools for literary analysis and pedagogical approaches to studying texts. It was also the year I began seriously reflecting on how to effectively transmit literary knowledge.

Since 2023, I have been pursuing a Master’s degree in Teaching (MEEF) for Secondary Education, with a major in Modern Literature and a focus on French as a Foreign Language (FLE). This professional program prepares me both for teaching French in secondary schools and for teaching FLE. I am developing concrete pedagogical skills: designing lesson sequences, adapting to diverse student profiles, managing classrooms, offering personalized support, and using formative assessment. I’m also exploring the intercultural dimensions of teaching French to non-native speakers.

📝 A solid and personalized preparation for the French baccalaureate

Thanks to my demanding background in literature and philosophy, and my professional training in teaching, I am fully equipped to support first-year high school students in their preparation for the French baccalaureate, both written and oral. I offer:

Clear and step-by-step methods for every type of exercise (commentary, essay, summary-essay, line-by-line analysis, oral interview)

Targeted work on set texts and text groupings

Personalized practice with detailed corrections

Tips to manage oral exam stress and gain written fluency

And above all, a caring, supportive approach to help every student regain confidence.

With me, no rigid lessons—each session is tailored to the student’s concrete needs to help them make progress, enjoy understanding texts, and earn points on the bac.

Experience / Qualifications

With several years of experience in academic support, I offer personalized, demanding, and supportive lessons, especially for first-year high school students preparing for the French or Philosophy baccalaureate exams.

🎓 Alternate Teacher in High School (since 2024)
Currently working part-time (as part of my Master's program) in a general high school, I am responsible for a second-year class and for support groups for second- and first-year students. This allows me to fully understand the expectations for the baccalaureate while developing effective strategies to help each student progress.

📚 Auxiliary Teacher in Classical Literature (May–August 2024)
During this temporary position, I taught French at various levels (middle school and high school) and supervised a group of Latin students. It was a great opportunity to deepen my teaching skills and develop strong adaptability to diverse student profiles.

🧠 Philosophy Baccalaureate Preparation Courses (2022–2024)
I supported four first-year students in preparing for the written exams: essay writing, text explanation, review of difficult concepts, and methodology. All of them gained independence and rigor. I believe that regular practice is the key to success, and that every student can improve with the right tools.

✍️ French Baccalaureate Preparation Courses (since 2019)
For several years, I’ve been helping first-year students prepare effectively for both written and oral exams: commentary, essay, text summary, analysis, expressive reading, linear analysis, etc. I work with students from various backgrounds (French high schools abroad, CNED, students with specific needs), which has taught me to personalize my support according to each student's pace and needs.

💻 Online Lessons via Discord (since 2021)
As part of the Virtual Class association, I teach literature and philosophy remotely, especially during intensive summer courses or through regular follow-up sessions (oral preparation, methodological tutoring, homework corrections). This dynamic and interactive format allows students to make progress from home in a serious yet relaxed atmosphere.

📌 Why Choose Me?

✅ Strong experience with first-year high school students

✅ Excellent command of the French and Philosophy curricula

✅ Supportive, structured, and motivating approach

✅ Adaptation to all student profiles (CNED, expatriates, neurodiverse students, etc.)

Non-formal Latin classes. Multilingual teacher with 10 years of experience. Pronunciation, historical linguistics, semantics.
Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language. What matters to me in particular: motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm; encourage creativity; make friends with language; letters and their sounds strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop; teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart; explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible; breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ; place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice. In the context of a first course, you can get a well-founded idea of my pedagogy. I look forward to meeting you.

I speak Arabic, French, Spanish, and also English. I explain my lessons in the language of your choice. And at the end of each session, I give lessons with exercises to do as homework to examine your gaps and monitor your progress. Here are some things to know about the DELF and DALF: The DELF (Diploma of Studies in French Language) and the DALF (Advanced Diploma in French Language) are two official and quality diplomas. They are harmonized on the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. They include the following six levels, in ascending order: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2. These two diplomas are suitable for all ages and all audiences. In addition, the DELF B2, and increasingly the DALF C1, allow students to enter French, European or French-speaking universities, and certain Grandes Ecoles. Will you have DELF or DALF exams to pass? Based on your interest, you'll learn more about Chinese history, philosophy, traditional and modern Chinese society, literature, religion, etc. With China's importance on the international stage growing incessantly, I believe it's very useful to understand the Chinese way of thinking, to develop awareness of cultural sensitivities and to gain some insight in the history that structures China's perspective on the world. Originally structured as a lecture-based course, the content can also be restructured into a more interactive learning design. Abdoul Kader
French support courses for middle and high school
Experienced teacher and chalk in hand, offers coaching (online or at home) taking into account the learner's level and adopting the most appropriate method for adequate monitoring. Online, the sessions will be recorded and the video will be available for the listener (for their revisions). If you are an intermediate (non-exam) student, looking to upgrade and fill the gaps that could potentially hinder you in an exam class, you will find the skills and experience competition to be sure to meet the challenge. Whatever your fear or certainty of the weakness of your level, our promise is to raise you to performance. If you are a student in an exam class, you will find, through various media, the resources allowing you to get up to speed and approach the tests with more confidence, with the certainty of a positive result. The difficulties related to analysis (grammatical as well as logical), conjugation, spelling, vocabulary, the methodology of the exam tests (essay, summary, commentary), the understanding of texts, genres and literary trends will no longer be a secret or a pitfall to your success. The same goes for literary analysis tools: lexical and semantic fields, figures of speech, textual typologies, etc. We have already supervised auditors online or in person with satisfactory results, using a method centered on the learner and taking into account their abilities and limitations. We proceed with a flexible method according to the level of development of the auditor/learner to avoid any dropout that may arise from reluctance or apprehension.
