Singing is a way of expression that helps you to connect to yourself and others. As a jazz-singer, performer and vocal coach I encourage anybody to join my classes. I work with adults and children also, helping them to improve their music skills by a playful method.

If You're a creative musician who's ready to expand your playing to the next level, You're at the best place.
The goal for this class is for You to be able to improvise and fit in into any music group as a Keyboardist/Pianist, being able to accompany singers or other instrumentalists, and being able to play by your own as well.

I'm going to introduce You to a lot of improvisational concepts rooting from the jazz world, applicable for all genres.

We will work on:

- Solo Piano
- Accompany Singers
- Playing in Bands of different lineup
- Understanding difference between classic Keyboard Instruments (Synths, Hammond Organ, Rhodes, Wurli, Piano)
- Walking bass
- Stylistic Trademarks
- Improvising in Different Time Feels
- Learning Repertoire
- Composing/Arranging/Songwriting tips
- Reharmonization excercises
- Understanding voice leading and harmonic movements
- Improvisation tools
- Reading
- Learning and making Transcriptions

My name is Maria, and I am a conductor and coach. I have worked for symphonies and opera companies around the world including Sarasota Opera, Portland Opera, British Youth Opera, and Fargo-Moorhead Opera. I would love to help you prepare for your next project!

As a conductor and coach, I have worked for symphonies and opera companies across the world. I can help you prepare for any upcoming performance or production.

I am a speaker of Italian, French, German, and Hungarian, so I can give you practical advice for improving your diction.

With a background in opera, lieder, and oratorio, I help students build a solid foundation in classical vocal technique, while exploring the richness of the repertoire. Together, we work on breath support, vocal placement, diction, and musical expression - at a pace that suits your goals and experience. 💙

Lessons include:
🔸Vocal technique tailored to your individual voice

🔸Repertoire in opera, art song (lied), and sacred/oratorio music

🔸Guidance with pronunciation and interpretation (Italian, German, French, Latin)

⌚ My schedule looks different every week, so we would just have to discuss a time by writing (the times I put as available aren't representative 😉).

✅ All levels are welcome - whether you’re returning to singing after a break, or simply exploring your voice for the joy of it.
