Hi there!

My name is Matteo and I'm a Master student in Composition at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp.

I'd be very happy to help you if you want to deepen music writing, and/or with any theory doubts you might have! Just ti say a little about myself, before arriving in Belgium I did my Composition Bachelor in Switzerland, at the Bern Academy of the Arts, with Simon Steen-Andersen, and I also studied Violin in Milan, my home town.

I also had masterclasses with the following composers: Georg Friedrich Haas, Paul Clift, Stefano Gervasoni, Matthew Shlomowitz, Trond Reinholdtsen, Eva Reiter, Giorgio Colombo Taccani, Dmitri Kourliandski, Pierre Jodlowski, Stefan Prins.

Hi there! My name is Matteo and I'm a Master student in Composition at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp. I previously studied in Switzerland and in my home town, where I attended the so called "Classical Lyceum" and, by passion next to my music studies, the Modern Humanities Faculty at the University of Milan.

Hi there!

My name is Matteo and I was born and raised in Milan. I'd be happy to help you learn Italian and/or become fluent in it having friendly conversations about any topic you'd like and others suggested by me. In case you're you are preparing for a trip, we could also imagine some real-life situations while getting around in the city!

Together, we'll work on your speaking, writing and reading skills, I'll also help you with grammar and syntax rules, and I'd love to share my love for literature discussing about books you'd like to read in original language!

Experienced didgeridoo player to teach how to play the instrument. I offer classes at my home or at the student's home, or in the open air if the weather is nice. I can teach you basics, advanced techniques, and structures to play well. I also have a lot of exercises to work specific muscles.

Getting to make the sound is the first step. The basic sound, the drone is not obtained only by blowing in the instrument but by squeezing the lips slightly by letting them vibrate. Then there are 3 types of breaths to master. From a type of circular breathing already the game can become richer because the sound is continuously ....

Hello to everyone!
My name is María, I am a Venezuelan Cellist.
All my musical education was inside the musical program "El Sistema" in Venezuela. This education was based on preparing myself as a better human being though playing cello in orchestras, chamber music and as soloist.
I am current studying my Master degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.
In what consist my lessons?
Cello classes for all levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced), it does not matter if you have never played cello before or if you are already studying, the important thing is to help you achieve the goals you want with this beautiful instrument.
To have better results with practice, if it is necessary to help you with music theory, I will help you.
As well, if you're looking for help in orchestral excerpts for auditions, I'm here for you!
For kids, parental support is also important during some lesson, we are all a team and we need to work together to achieve the goals!
Classes can be in person at your house or mine (BRUSSELS, BELGIUM) or via videocall (Skype, Zoom, etc). The schedules are planned according to the time of the student and the teacher.

Lessons in piano, harpsichord, and historical and modern cello, with program and repertoire, adapted to the goals and speed of each student, whether young, not so young, or adult, for a general introduction to these instruments, for preparation for high music education, as a supplementary aid for exams in music academies, or for a hobby, or for amateur group music-making, or for developing qualities as concentration, coordination, discipline, expressibility, awareness of styles and music history.
In my teaching, I rely mostly on old traditional methods, books, and repertoire, which have proved their efficiency over the time. I also make use of the teaching tradition of partimenti of the old Neapolitan conservatories - exercises for composing that can be applied from early stage. This not only adds a creative element soon after very beginning, but also teaches via practice the basics of harmony and polyphony.
Lessons can be combined (+30min.) with theory/solfege (ear training), if the student wishes.
English, Nederlands, française, Deutsch.
I have been teaching for more than 15 years, privately, in Brussels, and in New York in the past, more than 100 students.
I am a graduate of Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, in baroque cello and harpsichord, but I play also modern cello organ, and piano.

Hello! I am Lieve, professional recorder player based in Brussels. With great passion and pleasure I teach everyone who wants to learn how to play the recorder, whether you are just starting out or already have experience. This can be done in Dutch or in English.

Making music is central to my lessons and other aspects are also discussed from there: breathing support, ensemble playing, sound development, technique, ear training... Always tailored to your wishes and interests. We explore various musical styles to discover the different possibilities of this versatile instrument.

I myself have several years of experience in giving individual lessons, group lessons and workshops and I am also active as a musician in various projects, including the Delle Donne Consort.
