Hey everybody, I am currently in my second semester of the Master's programme in Political Economy at the University of Geneva. Last year, I received my Bachelor in European Studies at Maastricht University. Growing up bilingual, I speak Croatian and German fluently, and I studied French, English, Latin and ancient Greek during my school years. While living abroad for several years and doing my university programs in English, I speak English fluently. I have a lot of experience tutoring and helping children with homework or exam preparations since I have been working as a tutor for five years now.

Unfortunately I do not have the level in German because I decided to replace this subject by Italian when I entered maturity. However, I am qualified to help your child in the other three main subjects (French, English, Maths). I quickly noticed that the problem often comes from understanding the exercises given rather than the course itself, so here's how I like to proceed: I always start by first making sure that the principle of the course is understood by focusing on the points that block, and then we can start looking at the exercises, given by the teacher, that pose a problem. The goal is that at the end of the rehearsal course, the student has in his hands cards with the different methods used to solve all the possible types of exercises, especially those requested in the exam. I myself take care of preparing these sheets during the rehearsal course in order to summarize all the methods acquired.

The course depends on the needs of the student. I can support a student with homework or exam preparation. It is also possible to give private lessons to learn or improve this language. To do this, I like to work with a book that allows us to do exercises. If desired, I can also search for texts, videos, etc. more advanced to work with in progress. I also have experience with children who are not yet in school. It is possible to make a "course" with many games in order to learn the language in a more playful way.
