High school & university math and physics — clear explanations, exam-focused

I help high-school and university students understand mathematics and physics instead of memorizing steps. I have a BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering (mechatronics / dynamics and control) and I work as a mechatronic system engineer. That background is useful: I constantly use calculus, linear algebra, differential equations and mechanics at work, so I can show why a method exists, not only how to apply it.

How a lesson works
1. We start from your exam sheet, homework, or the chapter that is blocking you.
2. I rebuild the core idea with diagrams and simple examples until it is solid.
3. We practice exam-style questions and I show the shortcuts markers reward.
4. After the session you receive the notes in Word or OneNote, so you can revise without guessing what we covered.
Online lessons use Google Meet plus OneNote, so we write on the same page. Sessions last 60 or 90 minutes. I teach in English, and if required Italian, and I adapt the pace to beginner, intermediate or advanced level.
If you have a test in two weeks, send the syllabus or a past paper before the first lesson. We will make a short plan and start immediately.

Lessons are 60 or 90 minutes, in English. Weekend times are flexible and we arrange them together.

About Me

- I enjoy teaching and I try to hammer down the core concepts in a friendly manner in the student's head! ;)
- I focus on the exam questions and align my teaching according to exam requirements.
- When I teach online I use Google meet and OneNote and I can deliver all the materials taught at the end of the session in a word file or OneNote file. If OneNote is not available, you get a Word file with everything we wrote, so revision is easy.

I have been a tutor for school and university students. I have university degrees in Physics and able to teach Physics from High school to university level.

I tailor my lessons according to the requirements of the student as much as possible. The pupil may indicate specific topics/questions/exam papers that they would like help with and I can provide support by assisting them through tough questions/assignments, explaining important concepts they don't yet fully understand and I can create some challenging questions to help my pupils secure their knowledge.

I can provide extra homework as monitor progress in order to help my pupils even better.

As a tutor I'm friendly, supporting and encouraging. I believe anyone is able to learn anything they want to with enough patience, determination and guidance - and I have an endless supply of these!

I am a first-year engineering student in the Netherlands. Originally I am from Bulgaria. I have a lot of general experience with math and physics from a few different teachers and a multitude of competitions on a national level on math and physics, as well as astronomy. Hello, my name is Zeynep!

I am a mathematician with a doctoral degree. After completing my postdoc, I am currently focused on acquiring new skills while continuing to teach.

Teaching has always been my passion throughout my academic career. I have 16 years of experience, starting with private tutoring for school children during my undergraduate studies and eventually teaching at the university level to a diverse range of students. I am capable of teaching at all levels, from elementary concepts to specialized topics.

In Turkey, I guided many high school students through their International Baccalaureate (IB) programs, helping them gain admission to highly prestigious universities in the UK, Italy, and Switzerland. Some of these students later became colleagues, pursuing academic careers themselves—a gratifying experience!
