I offer private lessons on violin, viola and musical theorie for begginers and intermediate on all ages.

In my class I focus on technical issues as well as repertoires in different styles and I'm also open to discuss or adapt this repertoire for student's request.

My name is Joaquín, I'm 29 years old and I come from Chile, so I'm a very friendly person, I play the Viola and I live in Bremen

Teaching for me is a discovery where the main actor is the student, so I like to teach them how to make knowledge by themselves, and make them also understand why certain things are in that mood.

I like to separate my classes in three parta where I can at first, ask the student about himself and his/her relationship with the instrument and the music, and also resolve some problems about lasts sessions, then I like to aboard the technique and repertoire in that order and close with a refresh on what we have worked on additionally to a homework for next class.

Hi my name is Anne.

I play the violin and the viola and I have studied at the conservatory at ArtEZ Jazz & Pop.

During my studies I started to build by violin teacher practice. Apart from my private students I taught at the music school "Muziekdorp" in Wijchen and coached a band of high school students for a year.
Next to teaching I play concerts with the "Metropole Academy", I have a string quartet "The Four Frogs in te Woods", and I'm playing in a Folk string duo.

Students of all ages and categories are welcome in my lesson.
Classical, Folk, Rock, Pop, Jazz, and free improvisation are some of the genres you can discover in our lessons.
I did a Teacher Training with the American Violinist Mark O'Connor and finished this training with a diploma. His method is a very beautiful and comprehensive way to learn the variety of the violinistic possibilities.

We will play a lot of music together.
Starting with a correct violin posture you will develop a brought variety of techniques to find your own style.

Being able to play an instrument is an enrichment for everyone!

Like with languages, intuition plays a huge part in learning an instrument. Most often in music, the correct choice will the the one that ~feels~ the most natural. This is what my teachers, from when I was a kid, all the way to the end of my studies at the conservatory, have prioritized in lessons; Working less hard to sound better.

I’m here to help you in the same way, to decipher with you certain sounds, certain gestures in recorder playing, so that we can map out together your skill set, and eventually find your own style of play.

When it comes to the grammar part of music, I’m ready to teach you everything about reading notes, intervals, chords, and all the principles of music theory, with examples and fun exercises.

I am a very patient person, and have experience with beginners as well as “matured” amateurs :)

I hold a masters in early music, along with a bachelors in classical composition.

My dream is to live from composition mainly, writing music for concerts, film and ballet. Currently I’m working on a ballet commission from the Schauspielhaus in Zurich, and more original music for a series of concerts next summer in France.

My favorite composers are Bartok... and a bunch of anonymous medieval ones.
