Maths is a subject which is often hated by many people as it is viewed as 'difficult' to understand. However, understanding Maths is not as hard as it may seem and can be an amazing achievement for many. Even now when I finally understand a mathematical concept I feel a huge sense of achievement! I pride myself on being a very personable tutor, connecting with my students personality-wise. All my students have said they feel comfortable and calm around me, which is something I believe significantly helps them achieve their goals! They know that even if they get an answer wrong, with me, it's okay because we'll work on it together in the best, most efficient way possible. Aside from Maths, I love to travel, sing, dance, read self-improvement books and invest! I am passionate about teaching young people about investing, since I think it is an important concept to understand and not gate-keep. All lessons are based on previous classes and what you personally feel you need to work on in that particular lesson. We'll also go through exam papers from the very beginning, so you know what's ahead. Everything is well prepared and well thought of to ensure you get the most out of each and every session. Learn Spanish naturally with a native speaker! Hi! My name is Julia, and I'm a native Spanish speaker from Spain with fluent English. I love helping students gain confidence speaking Spanish in a relaxed, friendly, and interactive environment. Whether you're moving to Spain, preparing for travel, improving your conversation skills, or simply learning for fun, I will tailor each lesson to your goals and level. My lessons focus on: ✔ Real-life conversations ✔ Pronunciation and listening comprehension ✔ Everyday vocabulary and useful expressions ✔ Spanish culture and traditions ✔ Grammar explained naturally through conversation ✔ Role plays and interactive activities I work with teenagers and adults from beginner to intermediate levels. Every lesson is personalized, engaging, and designed to help you speak Spanish with confidence from day one. If you're preparing for school, relocating to Spain, or simply want to become more fluent, I'll be happy to help you achieve your goals. ¡Nos vemos en clase! Why choose Julia? She can also mention: 🇪🇸 Native Spanish speaker 🇬🇧 Fluent in English 🌍 International experience living in Spain and Sweden 💬 Friendly, patient, and supportive teaching style 🎯 Personalized lessons adapted to each student I would also change the profile photo The current avatar looks very formal and doesn't convey warmth. A bright, smiling, high-quality headshot with a neutral background will significantly increase trust. On tutoring platforms, friendly photos often lead to more inquiries because students and parents feel more comfortable approaching the teacher. This profile would be considerably stronger than the current one and would appeal to the types of students you've been receiving on Apprentus, such as adults relocating to Spain, conversation learners, and teenagers preparing for school.

I'm a musician, composer and producer from the UK with more than 20 yrs teaching experience. I give classes for guitar, bass guitar, theory, composition, arranging, mixing and production in English with intermediate Spanish. I have my own approach to teaching drawn from my own inspirational teachers and the experience of teaching, performing and recording for over 30 years. I adapt to the needs and goals of the student, but a typical 1st year class for guitar would involve focusing on a variety of pieces in different styles and suggestions of any helpful technical exercises, reading, rhythm playing, expanding chord/harmony knowledge and supporting theory. In time I would include new techniques as required by the piece and style and improvisation/composition to follow the student’s interest. I have developed an accelerated program with the goal of the student playing their favourite pieces as soon as possible. My constant aim is to find the right balance between student motivation and a thorough musical grounding, equipping the student for the future. If you're starting or improving guitar or need help with your songs ask me anything.
