My belief is that each student is different and requires a tailor made lesson to meet that student’s needs and goals. Every class is personalised for your own profile and is adapted as needed. I give priority to conversation, convinced that even from the very first day, one can start to communicate in the new language and thus gain confidence to go on.

I base my courses on the four essential competencies: speaking, listening, writing and reading, always focusing on your personal goals and motivation. I progressively integrate phonetics, grammar, conjugation, vocabulary in the courses which always include practical exercises. You will also learn a lot about the culture as it is deeply linked to the language.

The pedagogic materials I choose are mostly created for native speakers : texts from literature, newspapers, radio podcasts, videos, songs.... Indeed, I am convinced that the learning process has to tackle « real subjects », as languages are alive and constantly changing. My main challenge is to help the learners to be able to « think » in the second language. The debate is the heart of my classroom, but always in a playful way, through many role games — for me learning a language is first and foremost a great joy !

I do NOT have experience in tutoring the Russian language, however, I've always given advice and lessons to my friends and siblings for their Russian classes — no secret Russian language can be no chill sometimes even for native speakers! I am very strong in Russian grammar and was representing my school at the Olympiads for the Russian language. • Homework support for children and teens
Doing homework will not be hard any more! I studied Russian myself at school and university and can give your children tips and a lot of support. I will help them to be more engaged. Learning language can be fun!

• General Russian for beginners.
I will help you to make first steps in this exiting journey. We will speak Russian starting from the first lesson! Styding Russian can be interesting!

• Conversational Russian for intermediate and advanced students.
We will speak about various topics to keep up with the level and have decent speaking practice. We will discuss vocabulary and expressions that are new for you.

Online lessons can be given via Skype.
Offline lessons can be held in Noord-Holland in a café or library upon agreement (Hoofddorp, Heemstede, Haarlem, Amsterdam etc.)

Hello everyone! I'm a professional teacher in different areas that include languages: Chinese (Mandarin), English, Russian.
