Aleksandra - Copenhagen91€
Trusted teacher: Aleksandra is a trained singer, singing teacher and choir conductor from the Academy of Music in Gdansk and Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya in Barcelona. She took to the stage in her childhood and has been teaching music for the last 6 years. For several years she was a chorister of the prestigious Polish National Youth Choir and leader of Vocal Quintet Solifonia. Currently, she is a choir conductor and the founder of CHOIR CLUB in Korskolen. What can you expect from her teaching? She believes that singing can be passion, a communication tool, a means of therapy and so much more: more than you can imagine! In her classes, you will learn key vocal techniques as well as learning to understand your voice. You will discover the deeper meanings of the songs you sing as you seek to express them to the world. As she is working towards becoming an Accredited Teacher of IVTOM (International Voice Teachers of Mix) she focuses on delivering teaching based on the Mix principles: by mixing the chest and head voice you receive the full benefits of “both voices”: the natural and powerful sound of the chest voice, and the beauty and range of the head voice. As a singer learns to sing using both of these resonances and trains the vocal folds to stay together, it is possible to vocalize smoothly and evenly from one register to the next. The relationship of the two elements working together will create an even, smooth vocalization and, as a result, eliminates the “breaks” in the voice. She has a good knowledge of playing the piano, so you can sing along to her accompaniment or accompany yourself under her supervision. What does the first lesson include? You’ll talk about: - your background and musical experience - all the circumstances that can influence your sound production - your needs, expectations and plans You also find out: - what your bad habits are - how you can start your singing technique - what kind of exercises will help you best achieve your singing goals Who is welcome? - Children (8+), adolescents and adults - Singers of all kinds of popular music - Students who want to learn hearing / rhythm theory - Individuals, groups and families

Evan - Frederiksberg28€
Trusted teacher: I am currently in a banking internship in Luxembourg and also a business school student in Bordeaux after two years in preparatory class for HEC. I also have a Scientific Baccalaureate mention Very Good. These years have allowed me to acquire methods essential to academic success that I can transmit even to younger students, methodology being the key to success. I was also able to acquire certain skills in mathematics, history, geography, French and even in languages mainly Spanish and still have the knowledge for support in scientific subjects other than mathematics. These years have also allowed me to speak with ease in order to transmit knowledge (3 oral per week in preparation that helps). COURSES: Regarding my way of giving lessons, this year and last year I gave lessons to more than 20 high school students and a dozen college students and therefore know well the programs mainly of terminal ES and second. I have prepared many students for the French baccalaureate and other subjects. In addition, I will be inspired by my own experiences and what has worked for me while being aware of the difference of each and therefore will also do according to the child after analyzing his strengths and weaknesses. I will go over his homework with him to improve and prepare him for future exams and follow up throughout the year. the most important thing is to follow the pupil over a long period in order to be able to develop him. AVAILABILITY: Given that I am on an internship, I am mainly available on weekends, at any time of the day (except punctual impediment).

Students learn: Critical thinking: Philosophy teaches you how to analyze arguments, identify fallacies, and evaluate evidence. This skill is valuable not only in academic pursuits but also in everyday decision-making and problem-solving. Ethical reasoning: Philosophy delves into questions of morality, exploring concepts such as justice, rights, and the nature of good and evil. Studying ethics can help you develop a thoughtful approach to ethical dilemmas and a deeper understanding of your own values. Metaphysical inquiry: Philosophy investigates fundamental questions about the nature of reality, existence, and the universe. This exploration can lead to insights about the nature of being, consciousness, and the relationship between mind and body. Epistemology: Philosophy examines the nature of knowledge, belief, and truth. By studying epistemology, you can gain a better understanding of how we acquire knowledge, the limits of human understanding, and the criteria for justified belief. Logic: Philosophy involves rigorous logical analysis and reasoning. Studying logic can enhance your ability to construct clear arguments, recognize valid reasoning, and detect inconsistencies. Cultural and historical perspectives: Philosophy encompasses a rich history of ideas spanning cultures and time periods. By studying philosophical texts and movements, you can gain insight into different worldviews, traditions, and intellectual trends. Self-reflection: Philosophy encourages introspection and reflection on fundamental questions about existence, meaning, and purpose. Engaging with philosophical ideas can prompt personal growth and foster a deeper understanding of yourself and your place in the world. As a tutor I want to provide the following: Conceptual Understanding: A tutor helps students grasp fundamental philosophical concepts such as ethics, metaphysics, epistemology, and logic. They explain complex ideas in a clear and accessible manner, breaking down abstract concepts into digestible parts. Textual Analysis: Philosophy often involves close reading and analysis of primary texts by influential philosophers. Tutors assist students in understanding the nuances of philosophical texts, interpreting difficult passages, and identifying key arguments and themes. Critical Thinking Skills: Tutors help students develop critical thinking skills by engaging them in discussions, debates, and exercises that require them to analyze arguments, identify assumptions, and evaluate evidence. They encourage students to question assumptions, think logically, and articulate their own views effectively. Essay Writing: Philosophy coursework typically involves writing essays that present and defend arguments on philosophical topics. Tutors provide guidance on essay structure, argumentation, and clarity of expression. They help students develop their writing skills, refine their arguments, and support their claims with evidence. Exam Preparation: Tutors assist students in preparing for exams by reviewing course material, discussing key concepts and themes, and practicing sample questions. They help students develop effective study strategies, manage their time efficiently, and build confidence in their understanding of the material. Research Skills: Philosophy often requires students to conduct independent research on specific topics or philosophers. Tutors teach students how to locate relevant sources, evaluate the credibility of information, and incorporate research findings into their writing effectively. Personalized Support: Tutors provide individualized support tailored to the needs of each student. They identify areas where students may be struggling and offer targeted assistance to help them overcome challenges and achieve academic success.

Violinist graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in London (MA) gives violin lessons (Copenhagen)
Constantin
Incredible violin teacher! Strongly recommend! I was studying abroad and he perfectly help me with my violin goals. Violin classes were held in his well-kept and beautifully decorated apartment with many musical ornaments. It was a welcoming environment with an EXCELLENT teacher. He invited me to his conducting trials were I got to see him conduct an orchestra. Later, he invited me and my family to a Baroque concert, where he played first violin. What a beautiful musical experience. If you are looking for a teacher, he is all you need!

Raef
I found Dr. Ralf to be a wonderful Teacher. The things that he taught me through online helped me a great deal in this class as well as in statistic level. Because of the help and attention that He provided me with, I understand and enjoy Statistics. The class was great in that he didn’t just give the answers away – he made me THINK. This was sort of frustrating, but it helped me understand the material much better. I would recommend him as a Teacher for future classes, without a doubt.

🚀EVERY CHILD IS A MATHS GENIUS | British Tutor 🇬🇧 (Toulouse)
Oliver
We are just getting started, but our experiences with Oliver have been great so far. He is prompt to communicate, professional and very patient. He does a good job of understanding where my daughter is, helping her at her level, and not making her feel bad that she is having a tough time with Math. Highly recommend!
