Человек из Колумбии, живший в России двенадцать лет, вернулся на родину, Вновь оказавшись на земле, где родился, Он понял, что сердце его изменилось.

Он видел снег, он видел мороз, Он видел русскую душу в её самый серьёз. Он научился говорить на чужом языке, Но тоска по родине не оставляла его в покое нигде.

И вот он пишет поэму, О своих переживаниях, о своей тоске. О том, как Россия его изменила, О том, что в сердце его она навсегда заняла место.

О том, как он полюбил эту страну, О том, какие люди здесь живут, И о том, как ему не хватает их улыбок и глаз, Когда он смотрит на своих земляков в родной Колумбии сейчас.

Поэма о его путешествии, О его опыте и переживаниях, О том, какой след оставила Россия в его душе. Возможно, кто-то узнает в ней себя, А может быть, она станет началом новой дружбы на земле далекой.
