I graduated last year with a first-class Biology degree from one of the UK's top universities. I also received full marks in my Biology A-Level. My teaching style is direct, detail-orientated and tailored to your specific requirements. I have a wealth of previous tutoring experience. Chemistry, biology and psychology can all be difficult subjects but with my lessons, I aim to help tackle the approaches to exam style questions, giving tips to memorising topics and hand made resources that I made in order for me to achieve 3A*s at A level. I would also be happy to teach these subjects at a GCSE standard, as well as offer assistance to those in primary school for SATS or 11 Plus, as I have been tutoring my sister for three years. I intend for lessons to be interactive, as well as productive, and hope that I am able to gain a connection with my students that will allow them to be comfortable!

I am a UCL Biological Sciences student seeking to offer a highly personalised tutoring experience that caters to my students' needs. I currently teach from Year 7 upwards with a speciality in exam preparation. I teach Geography, RS, Physics, and English from Years 7-11, and Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry from Years 7-13. I aim to understand my tutees' unique concerns and explain concepts simply with many alternative approaches. As someone who has experienced obstacles to my own learning, I have a lot of empathy for students struggling with their learning, particularly those with learning differences and endeavour to develop an approach that works for them. I was a strong student in secondary school (Queen’s College, London) achieving A*s and As (and equivalents) at GCSE and three As at A-Level in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Particularly of note, I received a 9 in GCSE Mathematics, 98% in GCSE Religious Studies, and was awarded a sixth-form academic scholarship. I am an experienced tutor - I participated in a tutoring scheme in secondary school which allowed students from Year 7 to Year 12 to ask any questions they might be struggling with in any subject they wished. This allowed me to continue to engage with my GCSE content during my A-Level years and taught me how to listen to and understand the particular needs of each student at a given moment. I also tutored family and friends of family, allowing me to engage personally with my students and develop a specialised teaching approach. I offer one hour and two hour sessions and am free on weekends, after 5pm, and whenever my university timetable permits. I am generally free at all times outside of university term time.

Trusted teacher: I am a biology student currently applying for PhDs, and in the meantime interested in tutoring experience.I am looking to tutor students interested in applying for Biology or Zoology at university, especially in helping students through the Oxford admissions process (cover letter assistance and interview coaching). After completing an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Oxford, I completed 2 Masters courses focusing on systematics, evolution and palaeontology at the Natural History Museums in London (course co-run by Imperial College) and Paris (course co-run by Sorbonne Université). I completed my pre-university education in France through the french baccalaureate, and thus have particular experience in entering UK higher education from abroad (I am also bilingual/dual native in French and English). As a passionate biology student I believe I have the tools necessary to help prospective students better express their potential throughout the admissions process. As I am new to tutoring I have a keen interest in tailoring my tutoring to the student's needs and preferences, and preparing assiduously for sessions. My university application coaching would involve: - giving the student the tools to write an effective cover letter, and reviewing it with them in depth - Helping students develop the right mindset and critical skills to tackle university interviews, and providing mock interviews

I specialise in biology, chemistry and maths or (the sciences) at all levels from ages 4-17. My aim is to set small targets Each session to help achieve the end goal of the student. Regular test will be set on topics frequently to ensure everything taught is fixed in their long term memory. Exam technique - Sometimes we are amazing at knowing all the right content but not knowing exactly how to answer exam questions. It’s ok because this is a skill that has to be taught. We will break down questions into categories of their key words and i will teach the student how to answer it. Once that is done the student will have time (in lesson or out of lesson) to practice how to answer the questions. Overall my aim is not to teach the student to memorise but to teach them to understand so they can apply their knowledge in any scenario. I also teach drama to primary and secondary students consisting of trips and physical activity

Trusted teacher: Science is very interesting and important for understanding of life around us. My science lessons are easy and uses techniques to help student understand concepts easily. As we would not have all the lab resources to understand things. I use examples and power point lessons that make this easy. My focus is also based on exam techniques , so in real exam student is not at disadvantage as they would have understanding and enough practice of exam style questions.

For the past 7 years, I have tutored 80+ IB Biology and Chemistry students online up to date, and hundreds of students face-to-face. They have all achieved top grades (levels 6 and 7 only), and many of my tutees have gone on to study Medicine, Dentistry and Natural Sciences at top universities in the world (University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, UCL, Imperial College, King's College...). I, myself, have studied Master of Pharmacy at UCL (MPharm) and Graduate Medicine at University of Cambridge (MB BChir). For every exam period, I take up approximately 10 students to teach online. Every student that I tutored from last year's batch (May 2019 exam) received 7s (from Bio and Chem when I tutored them the subject). I teach students in groups of 2 or 3s at my house in London. Moreover, I also teach crash courses of IB Biology and IB Chemistry before the final exams in April time. If you're interested in normal tutoring lessons, I will help you understand any IB Chemistry or Biology concepts in an easy manner. I have taught the International Baccalaureate Chemistry and Biology programmes for 7 years, and am aware of the ins and outs of the curriculum. If you're interested in assistance and support in writing Internal Assessments or Extended Essay for Chemistry and/or Biology, I can help you achieve top marks - all the students I helped received 7s. With the vast amount of resources, past papers and experience that I have accumulated, I'm looking forward to helping you achieve a 7 (or at least a 6!). Anyone can do it with the right guidance.

I happen to have experience in teaching KS3 and GCSE and A level science students. I have seen many GCSE students through their Final exams and have seen them graduate with excellent grades. I want kids to rely on class notes for the assessment preparation, as I myself help them through the process of efficient note-taking process. And to check how strongly the concept has been grasped I rely on Exam-style question Assessments. For A-Level I do Biology and Chemistry specifically. I myself graduated with 1.0 from Middlesex University, majoring in Molecular Biology and Chemistry. I took GCSEs with 8 subjects and took Biology, Physics, and Chemistry for my A levels and did remarkably well in all the subjects.
