This course is designed for anyone interested in learning the concepts, techniques, and skills used by actors, to increase self-awareness, confidence, and attain a heightened understanding of human behavior. Emphasis will be placed on effective communication by adjusting your physical, vocal, and emotional state, to successfully navigate in any given circumstance. This is not only fundamental to becoming a great film or stage actor, but it is equally important in navigating life, through all the various relationships, jobs, and situations we may encounter. I am confident that upon completion of this class, you will transform the way you think about acting, with the realization that we are all actors.

This course is for "anyone" interested in learning the concepts, techniques, and skills required to write a film script. Regardless of writing for film, TV, or theatre, the fundamentals are very similar, however, this course will focus specifically on writing for the screen. The course will take you through an understanding of what makes a compelling story, fully developed characters, writing dialogue, the basic three act structure, organizing your story thoughts, theme, tone, pace, outlining, learning screenwriting format, and most importantly finding your voice as a writer. The classes will be tailored to your specific needs, but is intended to build upon various concepts, culminating with a completed short screenplay. This course will prove to be fun as well as interesting, enlightening, and will set you on the path for further writing.
