This class is designed for adult beginners who want to learn guitar in a clear, structured way – without chaos or wasted time.

You will learn:
- proper technique and posture from the start
- how to tune the guitar and understand basic fundamentals
- essential open chords and smooth chord changes
- basic rhythm and strumming used in real songs
- how to practice effectively, even with limited time

The focus is on solid foundations and real progress, not random exercises. Everything is explained step by step, with practical playing from the first lesson.

By the end of the class, you’ll be able to play simple songs confidently and know exactly how to keep improving on your own.

A guitar can be provided for the lesson if needed. I also offer guidance on choosing the right instrument and equipment for future learning.

Whether you are an adult or younger, did you know that with the proper methods, follow-up and advice, you can reach in 2 years the equivalent of what is achieved in 10 years in music school? The passion and pleasure of playing will quickly make you forget the minimum 1h30 of daily practice necessary for this beautiful and pleasant feat. This is the challenge I set myself by offering you these courses.

Practicing classical guitar for 27 years, graduated from the National Conservatory of Limoges, I teach guitar (beginner to advanced levels).

My method is distinguished by a perfect combination of high standards and attention paid to the pleasure of playing.

Passionate about music theory (rhythms, musical notations and other aspects that seem tedious to many), I know how to transmit this taste for musical technique.

The pleasure of play develops when you feel your progress, and these come with regular work. I therefore ask for attendance and regularity of at least 1 hour of practice per day. Depending on the students, the frequency of lessons can be bi-weekly or bi-monthly, and will be defined together, while remaining flexible.

I can also advise you on the purchase of a classical guitar.

Note: the practice of the classical guitar requires short nails on the left hand, and nails overflowing just beyond the tip of the finger, on the right hand, at all times. This allows an inimitable sound quality.

Examples of pieces you will be able to play after a year: works by Bach, Giuliani, Fernando Sor, Carcassi, Aguado, Jeux Interdits, baroque flamenco, romantic works

Guitar lessons: the mandate of guitar teacher is defined by the fact of being methodical, that is to say having an exact knowledge of the specifications: practice of playing with both hands, musical reading, knowledge of music theory , harmony... so many criteria which also participate in an encounter, that between the person who proposes and the one who wishes to emancipate themselves through an instrument specific to individual expression.

Guitar lessons adaptable to the student's needs

minimum duration 45 minutes (advisable);
study of classical and/or modern repertoire;
notions of solfege and music theory;
musical perception and rhythm exercises with the student.

Special requirements or other will be discussed personally.
