Drawing at a pace you like. It can be anything you like to create. A landscape, a portrait, a cartoon character, anything that gives you that urge to pick up your pencil (or digital pen) and scribble it out! Short class. I like to keep it short but I'm here to guide you every step of the way.

I offer creative lessons tailored to your needs and preferences. These can cover drawing and painting techniques, but also other materials like clay or digital tools (think digital art on the iPad). Projection mapping allows you to transform any surface — walls, sculptures, objects — into dynamic visual canvases. In this hands-on introductory class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of projection mapping, from concept to execution. We’ll explore the basic principles of mapping, in TouchDesigner, and how to align visuals to physical surfaces. You'll get to try creating a simple mapped scene, learn how to prepare your visuals, and understand how to work with different types of projectors. Whether you're an artist, performer, VJ, or just curious about immersive visuals, this class will give you the foundation to begin integrating projection into your creative work.

All parts of two dimensional art are based in the core components of shape, line, form, color, texture, value, and rhythm. This class will serve as a crash course in how to identify the parts of a whole subject and translate it into whichever medium you wish to try. Class time will be spent constructing subjects using shape, exploring forms of still life's, implementing and explaining the use of references, understanding basic lighting and shadow, applying line weight, understanding basic color theory, and sharing techniques used to successfully portray an artistic subject. The lessons are suited for absolute beginners, people wanting to try a new hobby or grow a passion. More experienced artists will also be able to participate by having a positive environment for constructive critiques, to enhance their skills and techniques, or to simply seek advice and communication with a fellow artist.

In this class, learn how to improve your artwork with the basics. We’ll go over simple anatomy, color theory, and how to exaggerate to your own style. Each class can be tailored to your own needs and what you want to get out of it. We can work on character designs, comics, prop designs, you name it!

During these classes, you can choose to go into depth with one or multiple aspects of drawing and the visual arts, such as anatomy, color theory, composition, perspective, facial structure, stylization, and more basics. I am also able to give feedback and suggestions on artworks you make and provide to me. This course will allow you to become more confident in your artistic creation and will equip you with the essential background knowledge needed to improve upon your art.

Every class is suited towards your skill level and needs. If you're interested in digital art, you can learn how to create digital arts using Krita, a free digital arts software that I highly recommend for it's tools and features similar to that of Photoshop's. If you already experimented on your own software, I will help you with rendering, anatomy, and composition. If you're interested in painting, I can provide materials if needed. I am experienced with both oil painting and acrylic painting. I can help you create both Fine Arts, or illustration.
