English conversation - content and public speaking

Hi all
My name is Iris and I am born and raised in Belgium. Currently I am in Taipei for business purposes. I have more than 10 years of experience teaching high school kids in various subjects such as maths, Dutch and general homework management. On top of that, I was the co-organiser of a public speaking club in Brussels.
What I offer in Taipei are English conversation classes. The emphasis will be on speaking, speaking a lot and as well about various topics that interest the student. I'd like to add a content level as well so we can discuss and challenge each other on different topics. On the way I will also assist in improving your public speaking skills.

My name is Iris. I was born and raised in Belgium and moved to Taiwan about one year and a half ago. I am native in Dutch and a business professional in English.
Over the past 10 years, I have provided regular homework counseling and exam preparation assistance for various subjects (maths, physics, languages) to children of all ages (6 to 15).
My students describe me as patient and kind. Personally, I think a big part of counseling is getting a student's self-confidence level back on track.

I have graduated university in bioscience engineering and added up another master in environmental sanitation. My current job involves renewable energy, therefore counseling is merely a fond hobby of mine.

My name is Iris and I am orginally from Belgium (the Dutch part). Depending on the needs of the student, we can see whether a beginner's course is needed or if we can move directly to a conversational Dutch course.
Mind that my accent is Flemish, since I am from Belgium. If you are planning on living or working in the Netherlands, the only difference will be the accent and some minor vocabulary.
