Do you want to learn German from a native?

I can teach you German depending on your needs. Wether you want to practice your grammar or speech and conversational skills (or all) is up to you. At first we would determine your level and wishes, from then on I will teach you with my study material and we will practice together. I have build my study material while living abroad in Spain. There I had students from all ages that I thought German to. I always try to incorporate creativity and fun into my lessons. Homework is also a recommended part of the lessons.

The classes can be held in person in Rotterdam or online!

I can fully adapt the course to your preferences. Just let me know your wishes :)

I am 23 year old Master student form Germany. One of my passions is languages. I love learning them, but most importantly teaching.
I have always thought languages next to my studies. Therefore, I have around 4 years of teaching experience. Building a friendly relationship is important to me. With me as your teacher you will have an open learning atmosphere, with a lot of room for growth and learning from mistakes.
I love to make people feel warm and welcomed :).

Latin was and remains one of the most historically important languages in Europe. This class will teach you the fundamentals of an ancient and difficult tongue. Classes are flexible depending on the needs and availability of the students. While it may be a challenge, it's also highly rewarding as you can gain a sense of connection to the world with a language with so much history and influence.

I am a funny and didactic language teacher. I have tutored Spanish and taught it as a second language in the UK, Vietnam, and The Netherlands. I have a good rapport with all my students and will dedicate time and enthusiasm to ensure students reach their goals. I can help with homework, conversation, vocabulary, and grammar. The methods I use to teach include listening, speaking, reading and writing. I always lesson plan in advance and do monthly reports with feedback. Hola amigos! My name is Kevin and I am a Business Administration professional with first-hand experience in tutoring foreign students from different nationalities. My linguistic spectrum consists of English, French and Spanish, which I master both orally and written. As a native Spanish speaker, I possess significant experience in the construction of argumentative texts and academic essays in Spanish.

On the personal side, one of my greatest passions are philosophy and literature. As such, I am constantly reading and translating texts in order to increase and develop my language skills. Consequently, my work methodology is mostly focused on motivating the student to speak freely and to learn by acknowledging his/her mistakes. From the beginning, I will try to address the lessons 100% in Spanish, with the aim of familiarizing the ear to the pronunciation. In terms of written exercises, it is important to know what are the student’s learning priorities. When starting with the written part, it is important to know the student is dedicated to practicing and that he will also benefit from this in his future experiences. This is why the exercises will address current social problems that allow him to be fluent when he meets other Spanish speakers.

In order for the student to learn as easily and efficiently as possible, homework exercises will be given after each lesson, drafted according to the parts that the students wishes to master best (speaking, reading, listening, writing). This way, the student will benefit from a fluid learning process and, with dedication, will be able to excel in Spanish in a short period of time.

I am Laura , a Spanish woman living in The Hague. I have been teaching and helping high school students with their homework and study methods since 2014 as a private tutor. I have experience as a language teacher in different schools in Madrid (extracurricular activities) for children between 3 and 10 years old. I work as a Spanish teacher since 2019 in various countries, helping numerous students to improve their speaking, listening and writing skills.

I studied Nutrition and Dietetics (4 years bachelor) at Complutense University of Madrid. Later and determined by my love for languages, I completed the BA in Linguistics in Leiden University, following the Brain and Cognition specialization, which focuses in how language and second languages learning works in a neural level.

Depending on the goal, the learning or lesson method is different. Normally, the first day I meet the student and we talk about what he or she expects and the topics we need to pay more attention. From that, I organise and structure a learning plan for reaching the desired goals (listening, speaking, writing, etc) or level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2).

If you would like to on a trip to a Spanish-speaking country or you are planning to go to study or work there, if you are interested in Catalan culture and its language... you are more than welcomed! Learning a foreign language is always a challenge, but an exciting one, and together we can enjoy it!
