I am a native English speaker from the USA with a bachelor's degree and TEFL certification and have been teaching English in Spain for the past two years, having recently moved to Porto.

I am offering private English classes for individuals or groups of 2-4 students. Speaking, grammar, writing, Cambridge exam prep, or whatever you may need. I also offer proofreading services and history tutoring as my bachelor's degree was in history.

For location, I can offer classes in the building attached to the Church of Nossa Senhora dos Anjos (adjacent to the law school of the University of Porto) or travel to the student's home. Online lessons are also available.

Time availability is subject to change as I will receive my schedule at my official job soon.

Hello, I am a native English speaker from the United States who has been teaching English in Spain for two years. I recently moved to Porto to teach English and am offering private lessons in addition to my regular job. I have a bachelor's degree in history and have completed an extensive TEFL certification course.

About me personally- I am an adventurer at heart and love to learn and explore new topics, hobbies, and places. More importantly, I love to share what I know and learn with others.
I value being active and spending time in nature, exploring new countries, and learning about different cultures and their history.

Education

I attended university at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, earning a Bachelor of the Arts degree in History.
I have also completed a 240 hour TEFL Certification course with 120 additional practical hours.

I specialize in private classes based on students demands. It is very important for me to keep the students happy and enjoying the learning. I also teach them some culture in order to understand the language better. I have been teaching IGCSE French and Portuguese as well as A Levels and IB.I believe in organic teaching and in including the language in real life. As an Erasmus visiting Porto, I would like to share my knowledge of French with Portuguese people. French is my first language, and I speak English fluently. However, I don't speak Portuguese very well.
The French lessons would consist of doing small exercises in conjugations and grammar, but also lessons on French culture. I want to ensure that the lessons are rather fun, because for me it is the best way to learn a language.
