Hello there! If you are a beginner or wanting to progress your saxophone talents, you’re in the right place. I am a professional saxophonist that can teach you the basics from how to set-up and play your first songs, all the way to improvising and finessing your technique!

I absolutely love music and have been teaching for 8 years, privately and in multiple high schools back in Australia. Let’s have fun some tooting!

I have completed my Bachelor of Music majoring in Performance (Jazz Saxophone) at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University. I had the opportunity to lead both the big bands whilst I studied: The Conservatorium Big Band and The Con Artists Big Band. I also was in the Queensland Youth Orchestra Big Band during that same time. I was lucky to study under the finest saxophonist's in Australia including Diana Tolmie, James Sandon, Jeff Reid; and Steve Newcomb (Head of Jazz/Piano).

Jawa (1996) a Syrian oud player, singer and composer.
I was born in Aleppo, and I grew up in Damascus, Syria. I started playing music at the age of eleven. I chose the Oud as my instrument because my father used to play it everyday at home when I was young. Gradually, I fell in love with it and now I feel an unlimited feeling of freedom while playing it. Graduated from Rotterdam Conservatory in 2021.

As an Oud instructor, Jad excels at teaching beginners and advanced players. He is skilled at breaking down complex techniques and concepts into manageable steps, ensuring that students develop a solid foundation and progress at their own pace. The teaching curriculum includes various styles, including traditional music of the Middle East, improvisation, and oriental musical scales, providing students with a good understanding of the oud's diverse capabilities as well as learning the percussive techniques of the plectrum.

A course to learn the bouzouki or oud instrument for all age groups and for children over 7 years old.

You can learn from scratch if you have no previous experience

For students who have previous experience, we can follow up from the current student’s level.

The course curriculum varies from one student to another depending on his level of education on the instrument.

For students who have no previous experience, we start with special exercises for the right and left hand to play the instrument correctly and comfortably, in addition to learning to read the notes and solfege correctly, and then we continue and gradually increase the degree of difficulty of the exercises until you become able to play any note you want.
