In my lessons, we don’t just study technique — we develop musicality, ear training, rhythm, artistry, and performance confidence. I use modern teaching methods and an individual approach for each student.

I have a higher music education and am a professional pianist with extensive experience as a performing musician. I have performed in various ensembles, including duets and groups, and currently perform solo. My repertoire spans multiple musical styles, giving me the knowledge and versatility to teach a wide range of music.

I am also active in improvisation and composition, and I can teach these skills to my students. One of my key strengths is that from the very first lessons, students can play the pieces or songs they love. I create custom arrangements tailored to each student’s needs, so they can start playing their favorite music right away — no waiting or postponing.

Jawa (1996) a Syrian oud player, singer and composer.
I was born in Aleppo, and I grew up in Damascus, Syria. I started playing music at the age of eleven. I chose the Oud as my instrument because my father used to play it everyday at home when I was young. In Oud, we will focus on:

Musical Maqams: Deepen your understanding of Arabic Maqams and how to apply them to playing. Musical Notes: Learn to read and perform notes on the oud with skill.
